A chain of veterinary clinics asked us to turn its logo into a toy. This is the result: a logo plush toy, sewn by hand to order from one flat picture. It isn't a stock dog with a badge stitched on. We built him from the logo itself, which you'll find last among the photos. The pictures were taken in October 2024.
The logo is a white dog on a teal square. He sits with his head up and his jaw open, ears like two straight sticks, a long tail sweeping out behind him. It's a few brush-like strokes, nothing more.
From two dimensions to three
A logo only ever shows one side. So the work was deciding what the dog looks like everywhere else, without losing the shape people already know from the clinic sign.
We kept what makes the logo recognizable. The two upright ears. The open mouth, with a single small tooth hanging from the top jaw. The long, thin legs and the tail that's almost as long as the body. Then we swapped the colors. The dog is white on the logo, but the toy is made in the logo's teal, so he matches the clinic's brand color.
His arms and legs are long and soft and hang loose. On the floor he stretches his legs out in front of him. Lift him and they dangle. He's big enough that a boy hugs him with both arms, and his tail still reaches past the boy's elbow.
Why a clinic wants a plush dog
A vet clinic is where pets and their people get nervous. A big soft dog in the clinic's own color is friendly before anyone says a word. And when the dog on the toy is the dog on the sign, people remember the name that goes with it.
Your logo, sewn

One mascot is a normal order, and so is a batch of two hundred. For a batch, we always sew one sample first and you approve it before we start the rest.

The dog is sewn from soft teal plush, the same color as the background of the clinic's logo. It has a short, even pile that keeps the simple shape clean.

For your mascot we match the fabric to your brand colors as closely as we can. A logo or a name can go on the toy itself or on a T-shirt, scarf or tag. Sound modules and LED lights can be added on request.
A single mascot usually takes 2–4 weeks. Most of that goes into the pattern: a logo is flat, so we decide how the character sits and what its back looks like.
Ordering a batch? The first sample usually takes 4–6 weeks. You approve it, and only then do we sew the rest.
Our estimate already has a reserve for handmade surprises. If you need the mascot for an opening or a clinic anniversary, give us the date when you ask for a quote. We take urgent orders.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Couriers slow down before big holidays, so leave some room.
Clinic and company mascots usually have a date attached: a new branch opening, an anniversary, a holiday campaign. Count back from that day, making time first, then shipping. For anything tied to Christmas or New Year, order by November 1.
Before anything ships, you get photos of the finished mascot, so you know exactly what's coming to your front desk.
We've made toys to order since 2009, from photos and from drawings. Mascots for stores, clubs and companies are a regular part of that work.
Before we start, we go through the character with you: the size, the colors, the pose and which parts of the logo have to stay exactly as they are. There is no minimum order. For a batch, we sew one sample first and you approve it. When the mascot is ready, you see photos of it before it ships.
