A memorial stuffed animal is a soft copy of the pet you lost, made by hand from your own photos. Either a plush you can hold, or a needle-felted 3D portrait in a frame for the wall. Each one is made to order for one family. We start only when you ask us to.

The photos you already have are enough
Most people come to us with phone pictures: a dog asleep on the sofa, a cat half out of the frame. That is fine. Send what you have, the more the better. A few from the front and the side, one of the face up close, and one that shows the pose you remember most.
Tell us the small things too. A white patch on the chest, one ear that never stood up, the collar they always wore. Those details are what make the toy feel like yours.
How close will it look?
As close as fabric and wool allow. We copy the markings, the eye colour and the expression from your photos, and we choose the fur to match the coat. It is a handmade likeness, not a copy, and we would rather say that up front. You see photos of the finished toy before it ships, and if something is off, we change it.

Memorial Pets We Have Made
Pets we have made for people who miss them
The Pekingese was made at the owner’s request, in memory of a dog who had died. The muzzle is felted by hand, the eyes and nose are handmade, and the long faux fur was chosen to match the coat in the photos. It sits on a cushion, the way the dog used to.
The 3D pet portrait is a grey tabby leaning out of a wooden frame. The owner sent one photo of the cat. We felted the head and the front paws from 100% merino wool, made the nose, the paw pads and the claws from polymer clay and painted them by hand. It hangs on the wall like a picture.
The tabby cat was sewn from several photos. We copied the markings, the green eye colour and the folded ears, and kept the tongue that always peeked out. Its page offers it as a memorial plush, and it is also made for people whose cat is alive and well.
The golden dog above is needle-felted from wool, collar and all. Felting suits short-haired dogs and cats well; for a long, soft coat we sew the toy from faux fur instead. We will suggest which fits your pet when we see the photos.
