Big Mouth came out on Netflix on September 29, 2017, from Andrew Goldberg, Nick Kroll, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett, and ran for eight seasons until 2025. It's a cartoon about puberty, where every kid gets a Hormone Monster: a loud, furry creature who shows up out of nowhere with very big opinions. Connie started out with Jessi and later took on Nick. Maya Rudolph voices her and won four Emmys for it.

So the mane was the main job on this toy. It's long dark-red faux fur, sewn in so it pours down her back to her legs, the way it does in the show. The rest followed the cartoon closely:

- glossy blue eyes under thick brown brows, a red-lipped grin and two small fangs
- a brown faux fur body with a yellow belly patch
- pale little fingers and yellow feet

Connie is made from premium plush fabric with hypoallergenic stuffing, and all our materials are safe. She can sit on a shelf or sleep in your bed, and she keeps her shape after a lot of hugging.
A cartoon monster needs a few different textures to look right:
- long, dark-red faux fur for the mane, so it moves and can be brushed with your fingers
- short brown faux fur for the body and limbs
- smooth yellow plush for the face, ears, belly and feet
- firm striped horns and glossy eyes that keep their shine

A Hormone Monster plush usually takes 2-4 weeks. Most of that time goes into the head. Connie's face is all expression, so the grin, the brows and the eyes have to sit in exactly the right place, or she stops looking like Connie.
We start with a pattern drawn from your pictures. Then we cut and sew the body, set in the mane, stuff it and finish the face by hand. The time includes a small reserve for the surprises any handmade toy brings. You see photos of the finished plush and approve them before anything ships.
Once you approve the photos, your plush ships. Delivery usually takes 7-20 business days, depending on where you live, the carrier and the shipping method. Sometimes it arrives in about a week.
Couriers get slower around the holidays, so leave extra time then. If your Hormone Monster plush is a Christmas gift, order by November 1 so the sewing and the shipping both fit.
