This giant fox head was the photo spot at an exhibition about manga and anime. The organizers of an event on Japanese culture ordered it from us, and we sewed it by hand in the anime style: grey and white faux fur, huge glossy eyes and a black pattern across the forehead. The workshop photos are from January 2024. The one from the exhibition hall was taken a month later.
Honestly, it turned out stunning. And it worked. Visitors kept stopping by the fox, and plenty of them left with a photo they'll keep.
Just a head, and a big one
There's no body here, only the head, and that's the point. It sits right on the floor, round and heavy-looking, with two tall pointed ears. Look at the exhibition photo: two visitors lean on top of it and the fox still takes up most of the frame.
The face is pure anime. Big eyes with white highlights and a thick black outline at the corners. A small black nose with a shine to it. A tiny open mouth under white cheeks. Up on the forehead, a black pattern of curls and a sharp V, set into the lighter grey.
Why a fox head works as a photo spot
A photo spot needs something people want to stand next to. A wall with a logo rarely does that. A soft fox face much bigger than your own does. At the exhibition it stood in a corner lined with manga pages, and visitors did exactly what we hoped: came up close and took pictures with it. A plain corner turned into a spot with something to do.
For us it also says something about Japanese style that we like a lot: beauty, balance and fine detail. Many fans of Japanese culture around the world love it for the same reasons.

A photo spot gets touched all day, so the fox is faux fur all over, in a few shades and pile lengths.
- Grey faux fur with darker tips on the head and the outside of the ears
- White faux fur on the cheeks, the chin and inside the ears
- Short light-grey faux fur on the forehead and around the eyes

For your piece we pick fabrics in your colors. A logo, a name or a slogan can go on the figure or on a tag. Sound modules and LED lights are possible on request.
A custom mascot usually takes 2–4 weeks. A giant piece like this fox head can take longer. There's more of it: a bigger pattern, more faux fur to cut and match, and a face that has to look right from across a hall.
The work goes in order. We agree on the design, build the pattern, sew the head and ears, then finish the face last, eyes and nose included.
Exhibition dates don't move. Tell us yours when you ask for a quote, and we'll say before we start whether it fits. Our estimate already has a reserve for handmade surprises.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Couriers slow down before big holidays, so leave some room.
For an exhibition or a festival, count back from opening day: making time, then shipping, then a day to unpack and set up the photo spot. For anything tied to Christmas or New Year, order by November 1.
Before the piece ships, you get photos of it finished, so you know exactly what will arrive at your venue.

Before we cut anything, we go through the design with you: the size, the colors, the face and where people will stand next to it. There is no minimum order. When the piece is ready, you see photos of it before it ships.
