Most people have never seen a fennec in real life. It lives in the Sahara, sleeps through the hot day and comes out at night, and it is the smallest fox in the world, with ears that look far too big for it. This fennec fox plush brings that little face home. It was made to order for one client, from photos of real fennecs, in the colours they asked for.
We're not a shop with a shelf of foxes. Every toy here starts with someone's request, and this one started with two photos and a list of wishes.
Why the ears matter
A real fennec's ears are about 6 inches long, the biggest for its size of anything in the dog family. They let heat out of its body in the desert, and they're the first thing anyone notices. On our fox they stand tall, white and fluffy inside, ginger on the back and edges. Get the ears wrong and it's just a small fox. Get them right and it's a fennec.
The rest follows the real animal too: a narrow face with dark lining around the glass eyes, a small black nose, thin black whiskers, a cream chest, soft cream paws and a bushy ginger tail with a black tip.
Made the way the client wanted
The client sent photos of real fennecs and told us what mattered to them: the colouring, the whiskers and the eyelashes. Our maker kept all of it. She also made the fox poseable, so it doesn't have to sit one way forever. This fennec is made from faux fur, wool, glass eyes and stuffing. We only ever use faux fur, never real animal fur, and we don't take orders that ask for it.
The faux fur gives the long, soft coat, cream on the chest and belly and ginger along the back and tail. The fur runs the way a real fox's coat does, from the nose back and down the legs, and the colours blend where they meet, with no hard line. The face and paws have a shorter, denser finish, so their shape reads clearly.

The fox is poseable, so it can lie, stand or sit the way you like to display it. Everything we use is safe and eco-friendly. It's a detailed collector's piece more than a pillow to throw around, so we recommend spot-cleaning only.
A realistic fennec fox plush usually takes 2–4 weeks. The range leaves room for the small surprises that come with anything handmade.
First we look at your photos and agree on the design: the colouring, the size of the ears, the face, the details like whiskers and lashes. You approve it before any fur is cut. Then comes the pattern, the fur cutting and shading, the eyes and the face, which take the longest, because a realistic animal only works when the face is right.
You get photos of the finished fox before it's packed. If it's for a birthday or a holiday, tell us the date at the start and we'll say straight away if it fits.
We ship worldwide. Once the fennec leaves our workshop, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country and your customs office.
Around Christmas and other holidays the post slows down everywhere, so give it extra time if the fox has to arrive by a certain day.
