A company had a rocket. It lived in their ad campaign as a shiny 3D picture: white body, violet fins, two round portholes. They wanted it in the real world too, something people could walk up to and touch. So we sewed this rocket plush toy to order, two of them, and both came out big.

From a render to fabric

A 3D render is easy to love and hard to sew. It has no seams, and its glossy plastic look doesn't exist in fabric. So we kept everything you recognize at a glance and made it soft.

  • The body is a fat white egg on its side, just like the picture.
  • The portholes are two charcoal domes, each ringed with a thick violet roll.
  • The nose cone and the ring around the nozzle are violet.
  • Three curved violet fins, one big swept fin on top and two below, hold their shape on their own.

The nozzle at the back is a real opening, as if the rocket just landed.

Why a rocket

In the ad, the rocket meant one thing: up, fast. A plush version keeps that and adds what a screen can't. You can hug a toy this size, sit next to it, take a photo with it.

We still have the client's 3D artwork. It's the last picture in the gallery, so you can compare the two.

What we could make for you

Your mascot doesn't have to be an animal. A rocket, a cloud, a logo shape or a product can all become plush. Send us whatever you have: a 3D file, a flat logo, a sketch or a short description. We'll work out the shape, the fabrics and the size, and sew it by hand.

One toy is a normal order, and so is a batch. For a batch we always sew one sample first, and you approve it before we make the rest.

More brand characters are on our custom mascot plush page. If your idea is still a drawing, see our plush toys made from drawings.

Both rockets are sewn from soft short-pile plush: white for the body, deep violet for the nose cone, the fins and the trim.

  • White plush body shaped like an egg on its side
  • Two charcoal plush portholes with thick violet piping
  • Violet nose cone and a violet ring around the open nozzle
  • Three curved violet fins that keep their shape
  • Hypoallergenic fiberfill inside

For your mascot we match fabrics to your brand colors as closely as we can. A logo can be embroidered or sewn on as a patch. Sound modules and LED lights can be added on request.

A single mascot usually takes 2–4 weeks. Big toys like these rockets can take longer, since more fabric and more stuffing means more hours of work.

Ordering a batch? The first sample usually takes 4–6 weeks. You approve it, and only then do we sew the rest.

Our estimate already has room for handmade surprises. If the toy is for a launch, a trade show or a store opening, give us the date when you ask for a quote.

We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Couriers slow down before big holidays, so leave some room.

Promo toys almost always have a date attached. Count back from that day: making time first, then shipping. For anything tied to Christmas or New Year, order by November 1.

Before anything ships, you get photos of the finished toy. That's the moment to look closely and tell us what you think.

We've made toys to order since 2009, from photos, drawings and 3D art. Mascots for companies, stores and events are a regular part of that work.

Before we start, we go through the design with you: size, colors, shape, logo, and what has to stay exactly as drawn. There's no minimum order. For a batch, we sew one sample first and you approve it. When the toy is ready, you see photos of it before it ships.

Planning a factory run? We also make prototypes and sewing patterns for production. See our Patterns & Prototypes page.
