A plush costume is a toy you wear: a fox hood with paws and a tail, or a monster head that sits on top of yours. Send us a picture of the animal or character and a few measurements, and we sew one costume by hand, for one kid or one fan. We don’t keep ready costumes. Every piece on this page was made to order.
How to order a plush costume
- Send a picture. Use the quote form and attach a drawing, a film still or a game screenshot. Say who will wear it and when.
- Get a price and a date. We reply with a free quote. Plush costumes start from $325.
- We sew it by hand. A costume usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.
- Approve the photos. When it’s done, you get photos. If something looks off, we fix it. It ships only when you say it’s right.
- Delivery. Shipping usually takes 7–20 business days, a bit longer around the holidays.
What to send us
- A picture of the animal or character, front and back if you have them.
- Measurements: head circumference for a hood or hat, hand and foot size for paws, waist for a tail on a strap.

Hoods, Paws, Tails and a Toothy Hat
Costumes we’ve sewn
The kids fox costume went to a children’s play in December 2010. It came as a set: a hood with a rust-orange faux fur fox face, two big foot paws, two clawed hand paws and a bushy ginger tail on a strap around the waist. Ribbons tie the hood under the chin, so it stays on when the kid runs across the stage.
The Huggy Wuggy hat is the big blue head from Poppy Playtime, sewn as a hat. It sits on top of your head, or pulls down low so Huggy’s grin is where your face was. Long royal-blue faux fur, glossy black eyes, red lips and a row of white zigzag teeth. Some of its photos were taken out in the snow, in January 2022.
Some pieces you wear aren’t costumes at all. For a brand, we designed dog-face towel hoods (a corgi, a French bulldog and a poodle) and sewed the first samples for a production run. If your own product needs a hood or hat with a face, see Patterns & Prototypes.
What you can change
The animal, the character, the colours. The same fox hood could be a wolf, a bunny or a bear for the same play, and Huggy can come in Kissy Missy pink. We change the fur, the size of the eyes and the shape of the face. We use faux fur only, never natural fur.
Would you rather hug the character than wear it? We sew the full plush too, like a Huggy with long arms and legs.

We’ve been sewing toys to order since 2009, more than 2,100 of them. You see photos of the finished costume before it ships. We’re an independent studio. Fan pieces like the Huggy Wuggy hat are not official Mob Entertainment or Poppy Playtime merchandise.
Questions about plush costumes
Yes. Send a picture of what you want: a drawing, a film still or a game screenshot. We’ve sewn a fox for a children’s play and a Huggy Wuggy head for a Poppy Playtime fan, and a wolf, a bunny or your own character works the same way. If a detail won’t work in fabric, we tell you before we start.
We sew to your measurements. For a hood or hat we need the head circumference, for paws the size of the hands and feet, and for a tail on a strap the waist. Kids grow fast, so measure close to the date it will be worn.
Making usually takes 2–4 weeks, then delivery takes 7–20 business days, a bit longer around the holidays. If there’s a play, a party or a convention, put the date in your first message and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can make it.
Plush costumes start from $325. Each one is priced after we see your picture, since a single hat and a set with a hood, four paws and a tail are different amounts of work. The quote is free.
Faux fur and plush. We never use natural fur. The fox costume has rust-orange and white faux fur on the hood, the Huggy Wuggy hat long royal-blue faux fur. We pick the fur length to match your character.
No. We don’t keep ready costumes. Each one is sewn to order for one person and one occasion.
Yes. When it’s finished, you get photos. If something looks off, we fix it and send new photos. It ships only when you say it’s right.

No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
