This one isn't a plush you hug. You wear it. Our Huggy Wuggy hat is the big blue head from Poppy Playtime, sewn as a soft hat that sits on top of your own head, or pulls down low so Huggy's grin is where your face was.

Nothing like it waits on a shelf here. Every hat and toy we sew is made to order, for one person and the way they want it.

Huggy, from the head up

Huggy Wuggy is the tall blue monster from Poppy Playtime, the indie horror game by Mob Entertainment. Chapter 1, "A Tight Squeeze", came out on October 12, 2021. In the story he's Playtime Co.'s most famous toy, Experiment 1170, who stands like a statue in the factory lobby and then chases you through the vents. By November 2021, Huggy plush toys were in demand all over the world.

So we kept the parts everyone recognizes:

  • long, shaggy royal-blue faux fur that sticks out in tufts
  • two big glossy black eyes with white rims
  • wide red lips that wrap around the grin
  • a full row of white zigzag teeth, each one cut and stitched by hand onto a black mouth

Look at the photos. On a stand it reads as a fuzzy monster head. Put it on and it becomes a costume, indoors or out in the snow. The photos are from January 2022.

Your version of the monster

Want it longer at the back, a different blue, or the pink of Kissy Missy? Ask. We can change the fur, the colour, the size of the eyes and the shape of the grin. If you'd rather have a full Huggy plush with the long arms and legs, we make that too. Send a picture of what you have in mind and we'll tell you what's possible.

We're an independent studio, not official Mob Entertainment or Poppy Playtime merchandise. Before shipping, you get photos of the finished hat for approval.

More game characters live in our video game plush collection. For another horror-fan favourite, see our Uzi from Murder Drones, and for fluffy and strange, meet Murashko, a fluffy monster from a drawing. Want to wear a whole animal? Our kids fox costume came with a hood, four paws and a tail, sewn for a children's play. More things to wear are in our plush costumes.

The whole hat is about the fur. We use long-pile royal-blue faux fur, the shaggy kind that moves when you turn your head, so Huggy looks a bit wild from every side.

  • Glossy black eyes on white fabric rims, sewn in place
  • Red fabric lips that frame the mouth
  • White fabric teeth stitched one by one onto a black mouth lining

Because it's made for one person, the fit can follow your wishes: snug like a beanie, or roomy enough to pull down over the face. Tell us how you plan to wear it. Extras are possible too, such as a different fur colour, a sound module or LED lights. Mention them at the start, since they go in while we sew.

A Huggy Wuggy hat usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.

The first part is the pattern: the head has to keep its shape and still sit comfortably on a real head. Then we cut the fur, sew the base and build the face. The mouth takes the longest. Every tooth is a separate piece, and the grin only looks right when they line up.

That time includes a small reserve for handmade surprises. If you need the hat for a birthday, a convention or Halloween, tell us the date in your first message.

When your hat is finished, shipping takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays the post slows down, so add a few extra days.

Want it as a Christmas present? Order by November 1 so it arrives in time.

Before it leaves us, you get photos of the finished hat. Check the fur, the eyes and the teeth, and tell us if anything should change. It ships once you say yes.

We've been sewing toys to order since 2009. Fan pieces like this are some of our favourite jobs, because people know exactly how their character should look.

That's why you see the hat in photos before it ships. There's still time to fix the grin or fluff up the fur.

If it arrives and you don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days. No long explanations needed.

Why?

No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.

Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.

Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.

You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.

One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.

That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
