The Dracula cat meme is a black cat in a vampire cape, with two little fangs and wide yellow eyes staring straight at you. Plenty of people just call it the vampire cat meme. We turned it into a Dracula cat plush, sewn by hand to order. Nothing here waits on a shelf: each cat is made for the person who asks for it.
Black cat owners get the joke. A void falls asleep with one fang poking out, and suddenly there's a tiny count on the sofa. Some people name their cats Vlad or Dracula for exactly that reason. Others buy a cape every October and hope the cat tolerates it.
What we sewed
- Long-pile black faux fur with a white heart on the chest
- Glossy amber eyes, a black nose and two white fangs
- A pinstriped black bow tie
- A vampire cape, black outside and red satin inside, with a tall collar that stands up behind the head
- A long black tail that curls out from under the cape
He sits upright, like the cat in the meme. Hang him up by the tail and he becomes a bat, cape spread, fangs pointing at the floor.
Make it yours
Want him bigger or smaller, with a different cape color or other small changes? Tell us. You can also send photos of your own black cat, and we'll sew your cat as the count (here's how a plush from cat photos works). Prices start from $330.
Got a different meme in mind? We make those too. The Stoned Fox is another one, and there are more on our popular toys page.
Thinking of Halloween?
Making usually takes 2β4 weeks, and delivery takes 7β20 business days on top of that. October is short. Write to us with your date and we'll tell you honestly whether it fits. If it doesn't, a vampire cat looks just as good on a shelf in November.
We're an independent studio with no link to the cat in the meme or its owners. This is a handmade fan piece.
The Dracula Cat is sewn from safe materials, mostly a long-pile black faux fur that's soft to hug and has the sheen of a real black coat. We only use faux fur, never real.
- White faux fur for the heart on his chest
- Glossy amber eyes with small highlights, a black nose and white fangs
- Soft black fabric for the outside of the cape and shiny red satin for the lining
- A pinstriped bow tie
The cape collar is stiff enough to stand up behind his ears, so he keeps the vampire outline on a shelf. Want a purple lining instead of red, or a bigger cat? Ask. Extras like a sound module, lights or limbs that hold a pose are possible on request.
A Dracula Cat usually takes 2β4 weeks to make.
We start with the pattern: a slim upright body, big ears and a tail long enough to curl around his feet. The cape is a small sewing job of its own. It gets lined, edged and shaped so the collar stands up.
The face goes last. Where the eyes sit and how the fangs point decide whether he looks like a sly count or a startled kitten. The time frame includes a small reserve for handmade surprises, so if you have a date in mind, put it in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7β20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Around holidays couriers get busy, and parcels can take longer.
Halloween is the obvious date for this cat, and October goes fast. Add the making time to the delivery time and count back from October 31. If that looks tight, write anyway and we'll be straight with you about it. He makes just as good a birthday present for a black cat owner.
Before he ships, you get photos of the finished toy to approve.
We've been sewing custom plush since 2009. Meme toys are a good test. Everyone knows the picture, so a wrong eye shape or a droopy collar shows right away.
That's why you see photos of the finished cat before he leaves the studio. If you don't love him, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
Not sure about the size or the cape colors? Ask before we start. A change is easy at the pattern stage and much harder once the fur is cut.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
