Her body is black faux fur, short and dense, so the shape of the head and the slim body shows through. The collar is a longer, fluffier orange faux fur that stands out against the black, like the mantle on a real flying fox.

A custom bat plush usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.
First comes a pattern drawn for your bat: snout length, ear shape, wingspan. Then the body, the faux fur collar and wings that fold cleanly.
The small things take longest: claws, eyes, the pink in the ears. They make a bat look alive. The time frame has a small reserve for handmade surprises, so if you need her by a certain date, say so when you write to us.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Around the holidays couriers slow down, so it can take longer.
A bat makes a fine gift for a Halloween fan, a bat rescue volunteer or someone who stops to watch flying foxes at dusk. Add the making time and delivery together and count back from your date. For Christmas, order by November 1.
