This long black cat plush is 120 cm from nose to back paws, about 47 inches. It's a hug pillow: you lie down, throw an arm over it, and the cat stretches along the whole length of you. We sewed it to order for one customer. Nothing like it sits in a warehouse, and yours would be made for you too.
A cat that's mostly pillow
Long cat pillows are a thing people love. Online you'll find folks who sleep with one tucked under an arm, or along their back, and say it feels odd to travel without it. This one goes for the same feeling with a simpler face: round head, two white eyes, a little white nose, pink whiskers and a sleepy smile. The ears are lined in pale pink, and the paws have white toe beans.
The body is long and low, with the front legs stretched forward like a cat lying on the bed in the sun. The back legs reach out behind. It's soft all the way through, made to be squeezed.
Why a black cat
Black cats get a bad rap in some old Western superstitions. Elsewhere it's the other way around. In Japan a black cat is seen as a lucky sign, and in Scottish folklore a black cat turning up at your door means good fortune is coming. We'd go with that.

The cat is sewn from soft black plush with a short, dense pile. It's smooth and soft under the hand, nice against your cheek for a toy that lives in the bed.
The face details are pale pink and white: the ear linings, the eyes, the nose, the whiskers and the smile. The toe beans on the paws are white too. The 120 cm body is stuffed to stay soft and huggable while keeping its long shape.
All our materials are premium and hypoallergenic. Want a fluffier cat? We can use faux fur. Never natural fur.

First we draw a pattern just for your cat, to the length you chose. Then the body and head are cut, sewn and stuffed, and the face details go on last, by hand.
You get photos of the finished cat before it ships and can ask for changes. If it's a birthday present, put the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Once your cat leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country, the carrier and customs.
