This giant raccoon plush is almost 2 meters long, around 6.5 feet from nose to tail. A real raccoon is 24 to 38 inches, so ours is more than twice that. He was a birthday present, ordered with a name tag sewn onto his paw, and we made him to order for that one customer. That's how everything here works: you tell us what you want, and we sew it. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting.
A raccoon you can lie on
He's built like a big hug pillow. Long body, soft belly, paws stretched out front, the kind of toy you flop onto after a long day. People who own one say they sleep with it or hug it while watching TV. Store raccoons come in one size, and the big ones sell out. One fan searched everywhere for a "giant laying raccoon plush" and found nothing. We make that raccoon, sized for you.
What we sewed
- A white face with the black raccoon mask around amber eyes
- A glossy black nose and white ears with pink inside
- A thick ruff of cream faux fur on his cheeks
- Black paws and a brown tail with black rings, like the real animal's
- A small fabric name tag on his front paw
Made in time for the birthday
A birthday has a fixed date, and we worked to finish him on time. He went off to the customer's city before the day, and the gift was a hit.
Your raccoon, your way
He doesn't have to be 2 meters. We can make him shelf-sized, give him a grey coat instead of brown, sit him up, or stitch a name, a date or a short message on the tag. Send a photo of a raccoon you like, a drawing, or just describe him. You get photos of the finished toy before it ships. For another big one, see our giant panda or the big bunny. More animals are in custom animal plush.
A raccoon this size has to be soft all over, because you'll lie on him, not just look at him.
- Short, velvety plush in taupe brown for the body and tail, white and black for the face and mask
- Long cream faux fur for the cheek ruff, the fluffiest part of him
- Black plush for the paws and the tail rings
- A glossy black nose and amber eyes
We use premium fabrics and hypoallergenic filling, and only faux fur, never real. The long body stays evenly stuffed and squishy, like a good pillow. Want a different shade, longer fur or a firmer feel? Tell us before we cut the pattern. A sound module, LED eyes or wire in the tail can go in too.
A giant raccoon plush usually takes 2β4 weeks to make.
We draw the pattern at full size first, so the head, the body and that long tail stay in proportion at 2 meters. Then the mask is cut and sewn piece by piece, since the black and white edges are what make him read as a raccoon.
The face comes last: the eyes, the nose, the ruff. There's a small reserve in the time frame for handmade surprises. Ordering for a birthday? Give us the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7β20 business days, depending on your country and the courier, and longer around the holidays.
For a birthday surprise, add the making time and shipping together and count back from the date. This raccoon left us in time to reach his owner's city before the party. For Christmas, order by November 1.
Before he goes, you get photos of the finished toy. A big toy ships in a big box, so make sure someone can take it in.
We've been sewing custom plush toys since 2009, giant ones included. On a toy this big, a crooked seam has nowhere to hide.
You see photos of your raccoon before he ships. If you still don't love him once he arrives, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
Not sure how big is too big for your room, or what to put on the tag? Ask us before we start. It's much easier to get right in the pattern than to fix later.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
