The frog from the show
Over the Garden Wall is the 2014 Cartoon Network miniseries by Patrick McHale. Two half-brothers, Wirt and Greg, are lost in a strange autumn forest called the Unknown, and the frog tags along the whole way. He doesn't say much. He can sing, though. At the very end Greg shakes him and his belly glows, because the magic bell he swallowed is still in there.
A lot of people rewatch the show every fall. The frog on the couch next to you fits right in.
How we sewed him
- A round, heavy body in light green fleece
- Olive-brown patches dripping down his back and legs
- Big round eyes, one of them half shut
- Wide grey lips and two small nostrils
- Long arms and legs with thin fingers and toes that hang over a shelf edge
Make him yours
Pick a size, small to large. Ask for a sound module with a ribbit or a few notes of music, a tiny banjo, hat or book, or wired legs and a movable head so he holds a pose. We can also put an LED inside so his belly glows like it does in the last episode, or embroider a name on him. Just maybe not every name Greg tried.

The frog is sewn from premium plush fabric. On this one it's soft green fleece with olive-brown fleece patches set into the back.
Small parts are soft felt: the eye whites, pupils, nostrils and the lines of his face. Inside is hypoallergenic stuffing. The round body is filled firm so he keeps his shape, and the long limbs stay light and floppy.

A frog like this usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.
We start from the show's frames and your wishes and draw a pattern for the round body, the back patches and those long legs. Then he's cut and sewn by hand. The face goes last, because a few millimeters on the lips or the half-shut eye changes his whole mood.
The time frame has a reserve for the surprises handmade work brings. If you need him by a certain date, tell us in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Around the holidays couriers get busy and parcels can run late.
The show came out in November, and many fans watch it again every autumn. If the frog is a gift for one of them, add the making time to the delivery time and count back from the day you need him. For Christmas, order by November 1.
