Carmelita Fox

This Carmelita Fox plush doll was made to order for one Sly Cooper fan. Nothing off a shelf: we sewed her around the client's wishes, and yours would be sewn around yours.

Carmelita Montoya Fox is the Interpol inspector who spends the Sly Cooper games chasing Sly over rooftops with her shock pistol. She first appeared in Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (Sucker Punch, 2002, PlayStation 2) and stayed through Sly 2, Sly 3 and Thieves in Time, voiced over the years by Roxana Ortega, Alésia Glidewell, Ruth Livier and Grey DeLisle. Fans still love that cop-and-thief chase, and on Sly Cooper forums one wish keeps coming back: a Carmelita plush. Official Sly merch has been rare for years, and she has had very little of it.

A collector's doll, not a small plushie

The first Carmelita here is 23 inches tall. A wire frame inside lets her hold a pose. Her eyes are painted by hand, her dark blue hair is natural wool, and her tail is long and furry. The client asked for every piece of clothing to come off, so she has a full wardrobe: her Interpol look with the cropped yellow jacket, blue top, blue pants and tall lace-up boots, a black sequin evening dress, blue satin pajamas and a red polka-dot robe.

The second Carmelita, on the dark background, is a newer version with a different face. She has a fabric-covered frame with jointed limbs, dyed wool hair and eyes that open and close. Her outfits include the yellow jacket with a blue skirt or leggings, gold boots, a red coat with a white fur collar and a long red satin gown.

Why a doll like this costs more

Most of the price is hand work. A frame that really poses. A face that looks like her and nobody else. Tiny clothes sewn like real garments, where every extra outfit is its own sewing job. A bigger size or more details cost more; tell us what matters and we'll quote it.
