A custom furry plush of your fursona is a toy nobody else can buy. There is one character like yours, so there is one plush of it. We don't keep a shelf of ready-made furry plushies: every fursona plush here is made to order, from your ref sheet and your wishes, and sewn by hand.

Off the ref sheet and into your arms

Most furries take their time getting a sona right. The species, the colors, the markings, that one earring. Then the character lives on a ref sheet, in commissioned art, maybe on a Toyhouse page. A plush is the first version you can actually hug, keep on your bed or take to a con.

"I've wanted a plush of my fursona for years" is something fans say a lot. The idea is rarely the problem. Commissions are closed, the waitlist is months long, or the plush artist doesn't do your species. With us you don't have to wait for a slot to open. Send your ref sheet through the quote form any time, and the sewing itself usually takes 2–4 weeks.

What you see in the photos

Both of these anthro plushies are original characters. The cat has cream minky fur, big embroidered blue eyes with dark face markings, a brown tuft of hair, black clothes sewn into the body and a spotted tail with a black tip. Its friend is white with a doglike muzzle, purple eye patches, a green tuft, huge layered ears with tiny gold rings, purple spikes down the back and a fluffy collar over a stitched heart.

Red paw pads, ear rings, the exact spot of a marking. Small things like these make a plush look like your character and not just "a cat."

Any species, any markings

Fox, wolf, dragon, skunk, bird or a hybrid you made up. Cartoony or more serious. You choose:

  • Fabric: soft fleece, minky or faux fur
  • Embroidered details for eyes, markings and paw pads, so they hold up to hugs
  • Floppy or poseable limbs, with wire inside if you want to pose them
  • Accessories: scarves, clothes, symbols or hearts your sona wears
  • Collector packaging: a gift-safe box with an optional character card

Not a furry, or not your character?

A plush of a friend's fursona makes a gift they won't find anywhere. If your OC isn't an animal, see our original character plushies. Only have a rough sketch? We also make toys from drawings. And if the anthro you love comes from a game, take a look at our Sally Acorn plush.

Want to see the anthro characters we've already sewn, from Gregg Lee to Gadget? They're all in our furry plush collection.

A furry plush depends on its colors and markings, so the fabric matters. For your character we choose from soft fleece, minky and faux fur. Minky gives smooth, clean color blocks, like the cream cat in the photos. Faux fur suits a fluffy tail, a mane or a chest ruff.

Eyes, markings and paw pads are embroidered, so they stay sharp after years of hugging. Hair tufts, spikes, ears and tails are sewn as separate soft pieces, the way you can see on both plushies here. Want to pose the arms or ears? We add wire inside. Prefer a floppy plush to cuddle? Skip the wire.

Everything is safe and eco-friendly.

Making a custom fursona plush usually takes 2–4 weeks. It can shift a little from character to character, and we'd rather keep some time in reserve than rush your sona.

The work starts with a pattern for your character's proportions: head shape, ear size, tail length. Then the colors are cut and pieced so the markings sit where your ref sheet shows them, and the face and paws get their embroidery.

When the plush is ready, we send you photos to approve before it ships.

Once you've approved the photos, your plush goes out. How long delivery takes depends on where you live, the shipping company and method, and the time of year. It can take up to 20 business days, and sometimes only 7.

Around holidays, couriers get overloaded and parcels can be late. If the plush is a gift, for a friend's birthday or a con you're going to together, add the making time and the delivery time and order early.

Want it to arrive ready to give? Ask for the collector packaging with a character card.

We've been making complex custom plush toys since 2009: unusual shapes, tricky markings and characters that exist only in drawings. A fursona plush is exactly that kind of job.

A sona is personal, and "close enough" won't do. That's why you see photos before shipping. And if you aren't happy with our work for any reason, even a purely subjective one, tell us within 14 days and we'll give you a full refund.

You don't need to prove anything is wrong. If it doesn't feel like your character, that's reason enough.

Why?

No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.

Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.

Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.

You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.

One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.

That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
