This Five Pebbles plush was made to order for a big Rain World fan. We sewed the iterator from a piece of art the fan sent us: 20 cm tall, soft, with a wire frame inside so you can pose him. One toy, for one person. We don't keep a stock of them.

Who Five Pebbles is

Rain World came out on March 28, 2017, made by the small studio Videocult. Five Pebbles is one of the iterators, giant machines built by the Ancients to solve the Great Problem. You meet his puppet deep inside his own superstructure: pink body, white eyes, an orange robe, antennae and wires hanging from his neck. As the Survivor he gives you the mark of communication. His experiments are also why Looks to the Moon is in such bad shape.

Fans call him Pebbsi or 5P, and plenty of them have mixed feelings about him. He's rude to you, and his mistakes drive much of the story. Not bad for a puppet with no mouth.

What we sewed

  • A round pink head with his white eyes and no mouth, like in the game
  • Grey ear pieces and two black antennae standing straight up
  • A yellow robe with a high collar and folded sleeves
  • Red and blue cords for the wires hanging from his neck
  • Thin pink legs, and a frame inside that holds a pose

Your iterator, your scug

It's a small fandom, and the official plush line is short. Want Looks to the Moon next to him, Seven Red Suns, No Significant Harassment, a lizard, your favorite slugcat or an iterator of your own? Send us art or screenshots and we'll pattern it. You pick the size. A 20 cm one fits on a desk, and we can go much bigger. You see photos of the finished toy before it ships.

More game characters, like Gregg Lee from Night in the Woods, are in video game characters. Have a drawing instead? See plush from drawings.

We're an independent studio. This is a handmade fan piece, not an official Videocult product.

Five Pebbles is small, so every material had to read clearly at 20 cm:

  • Soft premium pink plush for the head and legs, with white eye shapes sewn on
  • Bright yellow felt for the robe, which holds its folds and the high collar
  • Grey plush for the ear pieces and thin black antennae on top
  • Glossy red and blue cords for his neck wires
  • A wire frame inside, so he stands, sits or hunches over his work

The filling is hypoallergenic. If a character needs fur, we use faux fur only. Want a different robe color, a glow from LED lights or a bigger size? Tell us at the start, since extras go in while we sew.

A Five Pebbles plush usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.

First comes the pattern, built from your art. Iterators look simple, but the proportions are tricky. Then the frame goes in, and the robe is fitted over it.

The face and the cords go last, because those small details decide whether he looks like Pebbles or like a random doll in a coat. The time frame has a small reserve for handmade surprises. If you have a date in mind, put it in your first message.

We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Around the holidays couriers slow down, so it can take longer.

A custom iterator is a great gift for the friend who spent a whole weekend lost in the Industrial Complex. Add the making time and delivery together and count back from the day. For Christmas, order by November 1.

Before he leaves, we send you photos of the finished toy. We pack the antennae and the cords so they arrive straight and untangled.

We've been sewing custom plush since 2009, game characters included.

Rain World fans know every detail of their iterator, so you see photos of your Five Pebbles before he ships. If you still don't love him, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.

Not sure which version to go with, Survivor-era Pebbles or the Downpour look? Ask before we start. It's much easier to get a detail right in the pattern than to fix it later.

Why?

No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.

Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.

Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.

You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.

One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.

That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
