Meet the cutie stingrays. A company had a stingray as its mascot and wanted to hand it out as a gift to the employees who stood out. In 2022 we sewed them a small batch: a pile of custom plush keychain rays plus a few bigger ones. All made to order for that one company, nothing from a catalog.
Meet the ray
Grey-blue plush on top, a soft white belly underneath, and wings that curl up at the tips in dark navy. Behind: a long thin tail. The face does all the work. Two big embroidered eyes with blue irises sit in pale blue patches, and they look up at you a bit sideways, like the ray just heard its name. Below that, a small stitched smile.
The company's name is embroidered on the back. We keep it off this page, because it's their mascot, not ours.
Three sizes, one character
The batch came in three sizes. Two big rays you could hug or use as a pillow. A few middle ones that sit in one hand. And a whole school of little keychain rays on ball chains with rings. In one of our photos a keychain ray hangs off a desk lamp, right where a keychain like this belongs.
All three sizes share the same face. The embroidery is scaled down for the small ones, so even the keychains keep those big upward eyes.
How a small batch goes
Small batches like this we sew in a short time. From you we need only a description of the idea or a drawing. We draw the mascot as a plush, you check it, and then we sew a sample. The rest of the batch follows only after you approve that sample.

For your mascot we match the fabric to your brand colors. A logo or a name can be embroidered on the toy or go on a sewn-in tag. Sound modules and LED lights are possible on request.
A batch runs in two steps: one approved sample first, then the whole run. Small batches like this one we sew in a short time. The exact time depends on how many toys you need, in how many sizes, and how detailed they are, so we quote it per project.
The sample takes the most thought. That's where the drawing turns into a pattern and the embroidery gets sized for each version. Once you approve it, the rest follows that sample.

We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Couriers slow down before big holidays, so leave some room.
For anything tied to Christmas or New Year, order by November 1.
Before the batch leaves, you get photos of the finished toys, so you know exactly what will arrive.
We've made toys to order since 2009. Mascots and gifts for companies are a regular part of that work.
A batch never starts blind. The character is drawn and approved first, then the sample, and only then the rest. You see photos of the finished batch before it ships. There is no minimum order.
