This is a story about a time it didn't work out. Yes, that happens to us too.
A company ordered a tiger mascot plush from us: a striped orange cat in a yellow T-shirt, sewn by hand to order from their own character art. We made him. The client looked at the finished toy and didn't like it, so we gave them their money back.
We offered to rework the look and sew a new one. By then, though, the client's plans had changed, and they dropped the character altogether.
What went into him
Turned down or not, he got the same attention as any toy that ships, plus a few secrets on the inside:
- The logo on his T-shirt is embroidered by hand.
- His proportions follow the client's drawing closely, from the barrel chest and heavy arms to the little apron and long striped tail.
- His elbows have joints inside, so the paws move. He can wave, flex, or rest a fist on his hip.
And we kept his cheeky mood: round eyes, one tooth poking out, a grin from cheek to cheek.
Nobody's cat now
So now he belongs to nobody. That's fine. In our line of work, every experience is worth having, this one included. We did everything we could with that brief and kept our word to the client.
If you're planning a mascot, here's what we took from it: tell us everything at the start. The art, the colors, the mood, and what must not change. A character on paper and a character you can hold are two different things, and the more we know up front, the closer the toy gets to what you pictured.
Your strongman

One mascot is a normal order. So is a batch, and for a batch we always sew one sample first, which you approve before we make the rest.

For your mascot we match fabrics to your brand colors as closely as we can. A logo can go on a T-shirt, an apron, a cap or a tag. Sound modules and LED lights can be added on request.
A single mascot usually takes 2–4 weeks. Much of that time goes into the character: proportions, face, clothes and details like an embroidered logo or jointed arms.
Ordering a batch? The first sample usually takes 4–6 weeks. You approve it, and only then do we sew the rest.
Our estimate has a reserve for handmade surprises. If the mascot is for a launch, a trade show or an anniversary, give us the date when you ask for a quote. We take urgent orders.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Couriers slow down before big holidays, so leave some room.
A mascot almost always has a date attached: a product launch, a store opening, an event. Count back from that day, making time first, then shipping. For anything tied to Christmas or New Year, order by November 1.
Before anything ships, you get photos of the finished mascot. That's the moment to look closely and tell us what you think.

Before we start, we go through the character with you: size, colors, clothes, logo, and what has to stay exactly as drawn. There's no minimum order. For a batch, we sew one sample first and you approve it. When the mascot is ready, you see photos of it before it ships.
