Custom Plush of Your Comic Character
Sewn by hand in our studio from the panels, covers or fan art you send
A comic character plush is a soft toy or doll of a character from a comic book, a manga or a webcomic, sewn by hand from the panels you send. We make each one to order, for one customer. None of the toys on this page was waiting on a shelf, and yours won’t be either.
- Price: from $340. Every character is priced on its own design, and the quote is free.
- Time: usually 2β4 weeks to sew, then 7β20 business days of delivery, longer around the holidays.
- Photos before it ships: you see the finished toy and can ask for changes.
- Full refund: if you don’t love it, tell us within 14 days, for any reason.
What to send
A few panels, a cover, a screenshot or fan art. Comic characters change a lot between artists and years, so tell us which version you mean. If the drawing needs simplifying for fabric, we draw the plush version first and you approve it before anything is cut.

Comic Characters We Have Made
Sally Acorn, in a gown instead of a vest

Sally Acorn leads the Freedom Fighters in the 1993 Sonic cartoon and Archie’s long-running Sonic comics. Our Sally Acorn doll has her orange fur, red hair and blue eyes, and this one wears a long brown satin gown with roses embroidered on the bodice. Every part of her, from the ears to the tiny necklace, was made by hand.
Scrooge McDuck and Obelix, two old comic legends

Scrooge first appeared in Carl Barks’ Donald Duck comics in 1947. Obelix has carried menhirs since Goscinny and Uderzo started Asterix in 1959. Our Scrooge McDuck plush has his cane, glasses, top hat and blue coat. Yours can get a money bag, a monocle or tiny gold coins sewn onto the coat. The Obelix plush doll has the red braids, the green belt and the blue-and-white striped trousers. A little wild boar or his helmet can come with him.
Baby Groot, felted from wool

Groot started in Marvel comics, in Tales to Astonish #13 (1960). Most people know the little one from the Guardians of the Galaxy films. Our Baby Groot is needle-felted by hand and stands about 45 cm (18 in) tall, holding a small red heart. If you’d rather have one to hug, we sew him in soft plush instead.
Jenny and Renamon, poseable art dolls

Jenny is the cat from the planet Aldebaran in Bucky O’Hare, the comic by Larry Hama and Michael Golden that started in 1984. Our Jenny doll has her flowing pink hair, green eyes and silver armor, and more outfits can be made to change her look. Renamon from Digimon has a fabric-covered jointed frame, so she holds a pose on the shelf, plus a faux-fur tail and hand-painted blue eyes. Both are collector pieces, from $450.
Kuro from Tekkonkinkreet

Kuro, or Black, is one of the two street kids of Treasure Town in TaiyΕ Matsumoto’s manga (1993β1994), later a 2006 film by Studio 4Β°C. Our Kuro doll wears his goggles, a black T-shirt and red shorts. His partner Shiro can be made to stand next to him.
Itachi and Sasuke from Naruto

Naruto began as Masashi Kishimoto’s manga in 1999. Our chibi Itachi plush has embroidered Sharingan eyes and an Akatsuki cloak that comes off. His brother Sasuke wears his Shippuden outfit with a real zipper on the shirt and the Uchiha crest embroidered on his back.
Mitty and Ozen from Made in Abyss

Made in Abyss started as Akihito Tsukushi’s manga in 2012. Fans want a Mitty plush to hug after that episode, and ours is pink fleece and faux fur with a long coral tongue. Ozen became a round, sleepy chibi in a black cloak with a white lining.

Questions people ask
Any character you can show us in pictures: superhero and European comics, manga, webcomics, newspaper strips, or a character you drew yourself. On this page you can see Scrooge McDuck, Obelix, Baby Groot, Jenny from Bucky O’Hare, Kuro from Tekkonkinkreet and characters from Naruto and Made in Abyss.
Two or three pictures that show the character from different sides are ideal: panels, a cover, a screenshot from the cartoon or fan art. One good picture is enough to start. Tell us the size you want and anything that must be there, like a cane, a cloak or a scar.
The one you choose. Point us to the artist, the year or the exact panel. When a design needs simplifying for fabric, our artist draws the plush version first and changes it until it looks right to you.
The toys on this page start from $325 for a small chibi and from $450 for a poseable art doll like Jenny or Renamon. Size, outfit and extras change the price, so every character gets its own quote. The quote is free.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
