Meet Angela, a custom horse plush of the circus star from Marusina Karusel (Marusya's Carousel), a 1977 Soviet cartoon. We made her by hand, one toy, from frames of the film. Everything we make is made to order: you tell us which character you miss, and we make that one for you.
The horse from the circus ring
The cartoon is a ten-minute Soyuzmultfilm short directed by Natan Lerner. Its hero is Marusya, a little carousel horse who gets bored of going round in circles. She tries driving a taxi, then pulling a cart in a village, then the circus. Nothing works, because she keeps running in circles, and in the end she goes back to the kids on her carousel.
At the circus she meets Angela, the real star of the ring. People who grew up with the film still describe her the same way online: the circus horse with big painted lips. That face is what stays with you, so it's what we built the toy around.
What we sewed in
Angela is white, with a curly orange mane and a black tail tied with a red bow. A tall purple feather stands on her head over a blue jewel band. She wears a brown bridle, a blue saddle cloth with a gold medallion, and a fluffy white tulle skirt. The eyes are half closed under long lashes, and the lips are bright red. A bit of a flirt, a bit of a diva, and she loves a hug.
Your own cartoon character
Maybe there's a character from your childhood that nobody ever made a toy of. Old cartoons are full of them. Send us a screenshot or a few frames and we'll make it by hand, the way we did here and with Tryam the Hedgehog. You can change:
- size and pose
- colors and costume details, matched to your frames
- accessories like feathers, bows and medals
- a name or date embroidered on the toy
A horse like Angela starts from $365. The quote is free, and you see photos of the finished toy before it ships. We're an independent studio, not connected to Soyuzmultfilm. More characters from films and shows are in Toys From Animated Films.
Angela's white body is soft and fuzzy, yet firm enough that the slim legs and long neck hold their cartoon shape. Black hooves, a mane of tight orange curls.
The costume makes her Angela: a real purple feather, a blue jewel band, a brown bridle, a blue saddle cloth with a gold medallion and a white tulle skirt. The black tail ends in a red bow.
All our materials are premium and hypoallergenic.
- Your own colors and costume, matched to the frames you send
- On request: poseable legs and neck on a wire frame, a sound module or LED lights
- Embroidered name or date
A character like Angela usually takes 2-4 weeks, with a few spare days kept just in case.
First we study your frames and work out the shape: neck length, head tilt, colors that match the film. Then the body is made, and the mane, costume and face go on last, by hand.
Before it ships, you get photos of the finished toy and can ask for changes. If it's a gift for a date, tell us that date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Once your toy leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country, the carrier and customs.
Before the holidays the post slows down, and Christmas parcels can take longer. For a Christmas gift, order by November 1.
A toy of someone's favorite childhood cartoon makes a good birthday surprise. Tell us when it has to arrive, and we'll check that making and shipping fit your date before you pay.
We've made toys to order since 2009. Many of them are characters from old cartoons that were never sold as toys, so the frames our clients send are often all there is to go on.
That's why you see photos of the finished toy before it's packed, and we fix anything that doesn't match. If it arrives and you don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
Same promise for every toy we make.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
