The daredevil from Mellowbrook
Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil ran on Disney XD from February 2010 to December 2012. Sandro Corsaro created it, and Charlie Schlatter voiced Kick, a short kid in a white jumpsuit and helmet who plans to become the greatest daredevil ever. Gunther cheers him on, big brother Brad gets in the way, and when a stunt goes wrong Kick has his answer ready: "Fail? I don't do fail."
Two seasons, 52 episodes, and then it stopped. For a lot of people it was the show after school, the one they still name when someone asks about their childhood cartoons.
Why Kick Buttowski toys are hard to find
Kick toys and figures turn up mostly secondhand now, and a plush Kick isn't something you can grab off a store shelf. So we sew one. You pick the size (small, medium or large), the pose and the details. This one has:
- a white faux-leather jumpsuit with red stripes on the shoulders and that tall pointed collar
- a padded helmet with a red top
- white gloves with each finger sewn separately, so he holds a peace sign or a rock sign
- glossy blue boots and a skateboard of his own
In the cartoon, Kick's boots and gloves are yellow. This customer went with blue boots and white gloves. That's how ordering works: colors, board, face and gesture are up to you. On request we can add poseable arms and legs, a sound module, extra props, or a name or message embroidered on him.

Kick's suit is sewn from smooth white faux leather, so it has the shine of a real stunt suit. The seams run down his chest and legs, red stripes sit in the shoulders, and the collar stands tall with sharp points.
His boots are glossy blue faux leather. The white gloves have every finger sewn on its own, which is why his hand gestures stay put. The head is soft peach fabric with big white eyes, heavy black brows and a thin stitched smirk. The helmet is padded and topped with red.
Everything we use is safe and eco-friendly. Want the cartoon's yellow boots and gloves, a different skateboard, bendable limbs or a sound module? Tell us, and it goes into your order.
A Kick Buttowski toy usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.
That time goes into the pattern for your size, cutting and sewing the faux-leather suit, helmet, boots and gloves, and then the slow part: the face. That sideways smirk and those eyebrows take patience to get right.
The estimate includes a little reserve, because handmade work sometimes needs an extra evening. When Kick is finished, we send you photos before he ships, so you see him first.
Once you've approved the photos, Kick gets packed. Delivery takes up to 20 business days, and sometimes he arrives in 7. It depends on where you live, the courier and the shipping method.
Around the holidays couriers get busy and parcels run late. If he's a birthday present, or a surprise for the friend you used to call Gunther, add the making time to the shipping time and write to us early. For Christmas, order by November 1.
