The form you had to earn
Hyper Sonic first showed up in Sonic 3 & Knuckles in 1994. Getting him took work. You had to find the Special Stages, collect all seven Chaos Emeralds, turn them into Super Emeralds at Hidden Palace, and then you got the form above Super Sonic. He doesn't glow gold. He flashes through the colours of the emeralds and leaves afterimages behind him, and his Hyper Flash wipes out every Badnik on the screen.
A lot of people who played it on the Genesis still remember the first time it happened. He came back in Sonic Origins in 2022, and a new round of fans found him there.
Silver that catches the light
The Hyper Sonic in these photos is sewn from shiny holographic silver fabric. It picks up a faint rainbow sheen when you turn him, a quiet nod to those flashing emerald colours. His muzzle, arms, ears and chest are soft tan plush. He has magenta eyes under an angry brow, a wide toothy grin, white gloves and cuffs, and red shoes with a white strap and a little gold buckle. The quills are stitched in panels and stuffed, so they sweep back and up like he's about to take off.

The body, head, legs and quills of your Hyper Sonic are sewn from shiny holographic silver fabric. It's smooth to the touch and throws a soft rainbow shimmer under a lamp, so he looks different from every side of the shelf.
The rest of him is premium plush fabric:
- soft tan plush for the muzzle, ears, arms and chest
- white plush for the gloves and the rolled cuffs
- red and white plush for the shoes, finished with a small gold-coloured buckle
Inside is hypoallergenic stuffing, so he's comfortable to hold and the quills keep their points. The eyes and the grin are embroidered, and the nose is a glossy black piece. If you pick poseable limbs, LED parts or a sound module, we build them in to fit your toy. Everything we use is safe and eco-friendly.
It usually takes 2–4 weeks to make your Hyper Sonic plush. That's the whole job, from the first pattern to the last stitch.
We draw the pattern for your size, cut the silver fabric and the plush, then sew and stuff the quills one by one so they stay sharp. The face takes the longest: the magenta eyes, the brow and the grin are what make him look like Hyper Sonic and not just a white hedgehog. Extras such as lights, sound or poseable limbs are fitted along the way.
Handmade work sometimes throws a surprise at us, so there's a little room built into that time.
