This grey cat plush started as a handful of photos. The customer sent us pictures of their own cat, and we sewed this toy to order from them in 2024: dark blue-grey coat, bright green eyes, a little white on the chest and toes. Nothing like it sat on a shelf before.
Reading a cat from photos
Grey cats are trickier than they look. Cat breeders actually call this colour "blue": it's a diluted black, and in some light it reads almost slate, in other light almost silver. So we matched the plush to the photos, not to a colour name. The faux fur is short and dense, close to a short-haired cat's coat.
The eyes were the other big job. They're a clear, bright green and sit a little wide, so the cat seems to be watching you from wherever you put it. Add long white whiskers, grey ear linings and a dark nose.
A pose you'd see on the sofa
The cat lies low with its front paws crossed and its tail stretched out behind, the way a cat settles in when it plans to stay a while. Turn it over and there's a white patch on the belly and white tips on the toes. The body is soft enough to hug and keeps its shape lying down.
People who sleep with their cat every night often say they'd love a plush that looks like their own, not like a generic kitty. That's the idea here.
Your cat, your plush
Send us a few clear photos: face, side, back, any odd markings. Tell us the size you want and whether you'd like it lying, sitting or curled up. A custom cat plush from your photos starts from $405, the quote is free, and you see photos of the finished toy before it ships.

The coat is short, dense faux fur in a deep blue-grey, chosen to match the customer's photos. Stroking it feels more like a short-haired cat than a fluffy toy.
The bright green eyes carry the face, with long white whiskers, grey ear linings and a dark nose. White faux fur marks the belly and toe tips.
All our materials are premium and hypoallergenic. Faux fur only, never natural fur.
- Coat colour and markings matched to your cat's photos
- Eye colour of your choice: green, amber, copper, blue, odd eyes
- Any pose: lying, sitting, curled up, stretched out
- On request: wire in the legs for posing, an embroidered name, or a sound module
A cat plush made from photos usually takes 2-4 weeks, with a few spare days kept for the surprises handmade work brings.
We study your photos and draw a pattern for your cat's shape and pose. Then the faux fur is cut, sewn and stuffed, and the face goes on last: eyes, nose, whiskers.
You get photos of the finished cat before it ships and can ask for changes, like a shade lighter on the coat or a wider white patch. If it's for a birthday, mention the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Once your cat plush leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country, the carrier and customs.
Around the holidays the post gets slow and parcels can take longer. For Christmas, order by November 1.
A plush of the family cat makes a good birthday or anniversary present. If you need it by a certain day, tell us when you write. We'll check that making time plus shipping fits before you pay anything.
We've made toys to order since 2009. With a pet plush, the face decides everything: if it isn't right, it isn't your cat.
That's why you see photos of the finished plush before it's packed and can ask us to fix anything. If it arrives and you don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
Same promise on every toy, whether it's your cat, your dog or a character from a drawing.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
