This custom hamster plush started as a drawing. A little girl who loves drawing and making up her own designs drew a hamster in a tracksuit, sneakers and a baseball cap with a star. Her dad looked at it and asked the obvious question: where do you find a hamster like that? No store had one. So he sent the drawing to us, and we sewed it to order, just for her.
A dad, a drawing and a very specific hamster
Kids who draw don't stop at the animal. They pick the clothes, the shoes, the hat, the color of the stripes. That's the fun part for them, and it's the part a store toy never matches. The girl's hamster wasn't "a hamster". It was her hamster, dressed exactly the way she decided.
We treated her drawing as the brief. The tracksuit, the sneakers and the star cap all made it onto the toy, and every choice followed her wishes, not ours.
What we made
He's a round gray hamster in soft faux fur, with small gray ears, fuzzy pink cheeks and a white muzzle. Two buck teeth stick out under a glossy black nose. His eyes are shiny black beads.
His outfit is sewn just for him:
- a black tracksuit with three mint stripes down the sides
- white sneakers with black stripes
- a mint baseball cap with a gold star on the front
He stands on his own two sneakers, arms out, ready for a run.
Your kid's drawing next
If your child has drawn an animal in a party dress, a superhero cape or football boots, we can sew that too. Send a photo of the drawing. We'll ask a few questions, agree on the size and colors with you, and show you photos of the finished toy before it ships. A toy like this one starts from $410, and the quote is free.

His body is soft gray faux fur with a medium pile, nice to squeeze. The cheeks are fuzzy pink faux fur, the muzzle is smooth white fabric, and the ears and paws are a darker gray.
The tracksuit is black knit fabric with three mint stripes down the sides. The sneakers are white with black stripes. The cap is mint fabric with a stiff brim and a gold star on the front.
All our materials are premium and hypoallergenic.
- Clothes, colors and details taken from your child's drawing
- Any size you need
- On request: an embroidered name, a sound module or poseable limbs on a wire frame
A toy like this usually takes 2-4 weeks.
A child's drawing is flat and often shows only one side, so first we work out how the animal looks from the back and from above. Then comes the body pattern, then the clothes, cut and sewn to fit this one toy. The face goes on last, because the eyes and teeth decide the whole expression.
You get photos of the finished toy before it ships and can ask for changes. If it's for a birthday, tell us the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. After the toy leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country, the carrier and customs.
Before the holidays the post slows down and parcels can take longer. For a Christmas gift, order by November 1.
A toy made from a child's own drawing works best as a surprise, so plan it around the day you want to hand it over. Tell us the date, and we'll check that sewing and shipping fit before you pay.
We've been making toys to order since 2009. Kids remember what they drew. If the stripes were mint, they will notice blue ones, so we stick to the drawing.
You see photos of the finished toy before it's packed, and you can ask for changes. If it arrives and you don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
That promise is the same for every toy we make, from a hamster in sneakers to a copy of a lost childhood toy.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
