Some orders make us stop and look twice. This one was a pencil sketch of a Winnie-the-Pooh-style bear with no face at all, just a big letter Q. So what happened to Winnie-the-Pooh?
We didn't try to fix him. We sewed this plush from a sketch exactly as drawn, and he became Winnie-the-Q. Like every toy here, he was made to order for the person who sent the picture.
From pencil lines to black and white plush
The sketch is the last picture in the gallery. It's a quick pencil drawing: a round body, shaded ears and paws, little claws and the Q scribbled in dark hatching. There's no color on it, so the toy became a black-and-white bear.

No eyes, no nose, no mouth. The Q is the face, and it's the first thing anyone asks about.

Winnie-the-Q is sewn from soft plush in two colors, white for the head and body and black for the ears, arms and legs. The Q is a separate piece of dark fabric with a textured, scratchy look, sewn onto the face so it reads like pencil hatching.

He stands on his own two black feet. If your sketch has color, or none at all like this one, we'll suggest fabrics that fit it.
A plush from a sketch like this usually takes 2–4 weeks.
A pencil sketch shows one side only, so the first job is working out what the back, the sides and the feet should look like. Then we make the pattern, cut the plush, sew the body and set the ears and claws.
The face detail goes on last. On this toy that was the Q, and it had to sit exactly where it sits on paper.
You get photos of the finished toy before it ships, and we fix anything that doesn't match your drawing. If you need it by a date, tell us in your quote request.
We ship worldwide. Once the toy is packed, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country, the carrier and customs. Sometimes it's as quick as 7.
Around holidays couriers get busy and parcels slow down, so if the bear is a birthday present or a surprise, leave some room.
