This is Kloggi. You won't find him in any cartoon. He was made up by a talented young artist, the daughter of one of our customers, who drew him on a screen. We turned her drawing into a plush from a kid's drawing, sewn by hand and made to order just for her. Now the young character designer owns a toy that nobody else in the world has.
That's how every toy here starts: with one person's idea. We don't have a shelf of ready-made plushies.
Taking her design seriously
People who've had a drawing sewn before sometimes tell the same story. The legs came out wrong, the face looked off, and the toy didn't feel like their character anymore. A kid notices that right away. An OC is personal, and the artist knows every line of it.
So we kept what makes Kloggi Kloggi:
- a huge purple crest of rounded lobes, with two small closed eyes stitched on it, just like in her drawing
- big round yellow eyes that sit on top of a long, pointed white beak
- a short body in a darker violet, with thin white arms and legs
- a big bright purple tail that curls up behind him like a fox's
He stands on his own, nose first, looking a bit surprised by everything.
Does your kid draw characters?
Plenty of kids fill sketchbooks and tablets with creatures that have names, moods and whole backstories. A plush lets one of them step off the page. Your child can hug it, carry it around, and show it to friends.
Send us the drawing as it is: a pencil sketch, a digital piece, a page with three views or just one. If something isn't clear, like what the back looks like or how long the tail is, we'll ask before we cut any fabric. Any size, any colors. Sound, LED eyes, poseable wire limbs or an embroidered name are possible too. You'll get photos of the finished toy before it ships. Kloggi is sewn from soft faux fur in two shades of purple, matched to the colors in the drawing as closely as fabric allows:
- Bright violet for the crest and the big tail
- A deeper violet for the body
- White for the long beak, the arms and the legs
- Yellow for the round eyes, with black pupils and stitched closed-eye lines on the crest
The filling is hypoallergenic, and the crest lobes are stuffed firm enough to keep their shape. We only use faux fur, never real.
If your kid's character is fluffier, shinier or covered in patterns, tell us at the start. The same goes for extras like LED eyes or a sound module, since they go in while we sew.
A character plush like Kloggi usually takes 2–4 weeks.
We start with the drawing and work out what it doesn't show: the back, the side, how thick the arms should be. Then comes the pattern. The crest and the beak take the longest, because their shapes have to match the drawing from every side.
The eyes go on last. Their size and spacing decide whether the toy looks like the artist's character or just a purple bird. The time frame includes a small reserve for handmade surprises. If you're aiming for a birthday, mention the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Around the holidays mail slows down, so allow extra time.
A toy made from a child's own drawing is a great birthday surprise, or a present for finishing a sketchbook. Add the making time to the delivery time and count back from the day. For Christmas, order by November 1.
Before the toy leaves us, we send you photos of it. We pack it so the crest and the beak arrive in shape.
