One body, three opinions, zero agreement. The left head wants to go back to sleep. The right one is sure it's time for the gym. The middle one just wants coffee. This three-headed dragon plush started as a drawing, and we sewed it by hand in 2025, made to order like every toy we make. Nothing here is mass-produced or waiting on a shelf.

From a drawing to a dragon you can hold

In the drawing, a cheerful green dragon hugs a giant wafer roll with chocolate filling. A little village sits on a hill behind him. We kept what made that picture fun: three long necks, each head with its own face and mood, little orange horns and small white fangs. The round tan belly is quilted with stitched lines. The wafer roll is soft too, with a criss-cross pattern and a dark chocolate end.

Turn him around and there's more. Two pale green wings, a row of orange spikes running down the back to the tip of the tail, and stitched scale marks along the sides.

What do you call a dragon with three heads?

People search that question a lot. In Russian fairy tales the answer is Zmey Gorynych, a fire-breathing dragon with three heads or more, the one the hero Dobrynya Nikitich fights in the old epic songs. Ours is friendlier. He doesn't roar and he doesn't breathe fire. He'll make you smile, even if you happen to be one of his heads.

He's a good fit for anyone who argues with themselves every morning. Or think of three siblings, three best friends, a band of three: one dragon, and everyone gets a head.

Make your own

  • Send a drawing, yours or your kid's. A rough sketch works.
  • Pick the size, the colours and what he holds.
  • Two heads, three or five, all on one body.

A custom dragon like this starts from $360, and the quote is free. You see photos of the finished toy before it ships. More dragons live in Dragon Plushies, and more drawings turned into toys in Plush From Drawings.

This three-headed dragon is sewn from soft green short-pile plush. The belly and the wafer roll are a warm tan fabric with stitched lines that give them texture. Horns and back spikes are bright orange, the wings a paler green.

The faces are embroidered, so each head keeps its own expression: sleepy, grumpy, a little worried. The scale marks on the back are stitched, not printed.

All our materials are premium and hypoallergenic. For a furry dragon we use faux fur only, never natural fur.

  • Any colours, any number of heads
  • A different prop: a cup of coffee, a book, a sword
  • On request: poseable necks on a wire frame, a sound module or LED lights

A dragon like this usually takes 2-4 weeks. We keep a few spare days for the surprises that come with handmade work.

Three heads mean three necks to pattern and balance on one body. We draft the pattern from your drawing, sew the body and the heads, then embroider each face by hand, one mood at a time.

Before it ships, you get photos of the finished dragon and can ask for changes. Need it for a birthday? Put the date in your first message.

We ship worldwide. Once your dragon leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country, the carrier and customs.

Mail slows down before the holidays, and Christmas parcels can take longer than that. If he's a Christmas gift, order by November 1.

A three-headed dragon makes a good birthday present for a fantasy fan, or a shared gift for three people. Tell us the date when you write, and we'll check that making time plus shipping fits before you pay.

We've been sewing toys to order since 2009. Many of them, like this dragon, start as someone's drawing, and we know how much it matters that the toy looks like the picture.

You see photos of the finished dragon before it's packed, and you can ask us to fix anything. If he arrives and you don't love him, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.

All three heads are covered by the same promise.

Why?

No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.

Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.

Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.

You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.

One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.

That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
