This Rayman plush was sewn by hand for one fan, from pictures of Ubisoft's limbless hero. Nothing here sits on a shelf. Every toy we make is made to order, from the images and wishes you send us, and a Rayman like this one starts from $330.

Ask Rayman fans about plush and you'll hear the same complaint. Official ones have been rare for most of his life: an early-2000s promo plush that is hard to find today, a few newer releases, long gaps in between. So fans sew their own, or find someone to do it.

The trouble with floating hands

Michel Ancel's Rayman first showed up in 1995. He has no arms, no legs and no neck. His gloves and shoes just hover next to his body. That started as a technical limit: the hardware of the time couldn't animate limbs well, so the team left them out.

On screen it works. A soft toy needs something to hold the pieces together, and plush makers argue about it: clear thread, string, or thin limbs. We went with thin limbs. Slim beige arms and legs connect the gloves and shoes to the body, so from across the room he still reads as Rayman, and nothing drops off in a hug. If you searched for "Rayman with limbs", this is what it looks like as a plush.

What we sewed

  • The yellow hair tuft he spins like a helicopter
  • A big peach nose and wide cartoon eyes
  • A red hood around his neck
  • A purple body with the white ring on his chest
  • White gloves with spread fingers and chunky yellow-and-white shoes

In the photos he waves one glove and stands on those big shoes.

Your Rayman, your version

Prefer the 1995 look with the red scarf, the Rayman Legends version, or a different size? Send the screenshots you like. We can also add a sound module, LED lights, arms and legs that hold a pose, an embroidered name or a printed message. You see photos of the finished toy before it ships.

Want company for him? We also made Polokus, the spirit of the world from Rayman 2. More gaming plush is in our video game characters collection.

We're an independent studio. This is a handmade fan piece, not official Ubisoft merchandise.

Rayman is sewn from soft plush fabric with hypoallergenic stuffing and strong seams. Each part gets its own color, matched to the game:

  • Bright yellow pile for the hair tuft and the toes of the shoes
  • Deep purple for the body, with the white ring stitched on the chest
  • Red for the hood
  • Snow-white fabric for the gloves and the heels of the shoes
  • Peach-beige for the face, the big nose and the thin arms and legs

The gloves and shoes are stuffed full, so they keep their cartoon size.

Want colors from a later game, or arms and legs that hold a pose? Ask, and we'll plan it into the pattern.

A Rayman plush usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.

Most of that time goes into proportions. His head, nose and hair are huge, his body is small, and his hands and feet are almost as big as his head. The pattern has to get that balance right before any fabric is cut.

Then the small pieces: glove fingers, two-color shoes, the hood, the thin limbs. The eyes go last. They decide whether he looks cheeky or lost. The time frame includes a small reserve for handmade surprises, so tell us your date in your first message.

We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Around holidays parcels can run late.

Want him under the tree? For Christmas, order by November 1. That leaves room for the making time and for December delivery.

For a birthday or the day a new Rayman game comes out, add the 2–4 weeks of making to the delivery time and count back from your date.

Before he leaves the studio, we send photos of the finished toy. Then we pack him so the hair tuft and the gloves arrive in shape.

We've been sewing custom plush since 2009. A hero whose hands and feet float on their own is a good test of that.

Rayman fans know every line of him, from the hair tuft to the ring on his chest. That's why you get photos of the finished toy before it ships. If you don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.

Not sure which game's look to follow, or how to do the limbs? Ask before we start.

Why?

No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.

Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.

Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.

You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.

One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.

That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
