This chocolate lab plush is a family's Labrador, sewn life-size and made to order back in 2010. It stands on all four paws, about as big as a real Lab, and it looks at you sideways the way Labs do when they suspect there's food somewhere.
Honestly, it came out so sweet that we didn't want to give it away. We did, of course. It was never ours to keep.
What makes it look like a Lab
A Labrador is easy to draw and hard to get right. The head is broad, the ears hang soft, the chest is deep and the legs are thick. We built the pattern around that shape, not around a generic teddy dog.

Your own Lab, any color, any size
Labs come in three colors: black, yellow and chocolate. The breed spent 31 years as America's favorite dog, so it's no surprise people look for a Labrador plush of their own. Some want the chocolate lab plush they had as kids. Others want a copy of the dog asleep on the couch right now.
Nothing here sits on a shelf waiting for a buyer. We sew each dog for one person. Send a few clear photos of your Lab: the face, the side, any gray on the muzzle or a white patch on the chest. Tell us the size. Life-size like this one, or small enough to carry around. Realistic, or softer and more cartoon-like for hugging. Before anything ships, you see photos of the finished toy.

A Lab's coat is short and thick, and it shines a little. So we use dense, short-pile faux fur that lies smooth along the body, like a real Lab's.

We use premium, hypoallergenic materials, and the fur is always faux fur. A collar like your dog's, a name tag or a favorite bandana can be added while we sew.
A Labrador plush usually takes 2–4 weeks. A life-size dog like this one can take longer, and your quote gives you the real date.
First we draw the pattern from your photos: the broad head, the deep chest, the thick legs. Then we cut and sew the body, set the stuffing so the dog stands steady, and finish the face last.
The face takes the most time. The eye angle and the line of the muzzle decide whether it looks like your Lab or just like a Lab. The time frame keeps a small reserve for handmade surprises. If you have a date in mind, put it in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Around the holidays the post slows down, so add a few days.
A life-size dog travels in a big box, so leave room for that when you plan a surprise. Count back from the birthday: making time first, then delivery. For Christmas, order by November 1.
Before it ships, you get photos of the finished toy. We pack it so the ears and the fur arrive in shape.
