Half girl, half mouse, and fast asleep. This mouse girl plush was sewn in 2012 from a drawing, made to order for one customer. We didn't pull her off a shelf. We made the pattern for her and nobody else.
Our note from back then was short: a cute blue-haired mouse in anime style. In the photo the hair reads more violet than blue, but she is the same sleepy little mouse.
An anime face in fabric
Anime faces live on a few lines. Here that's two closed eyes drawn as thick black lashes, pink cheeks and a tiny pouting mouth. There's no nose at all. Get one line wrong and the character stops looking like herself, so on a face like this we spend the most time.
The hair is a cut doll-hair fringe that falls straight over her forehead, with a small top knot tied up on the crown. It moves like real hair and can be smoothed back into place.
The mouse part
She wears a soft lilac mouse suit with big round ears and a long thin tail that curls up behind her. Violet frills gather at her wrists and ankles. A gold satin neckerchief is knotted at the neck. Her hands and feet are pale pink, the same shade as her face.
She sits on her own, leaning back a little with her legs out and her arms open, like she dozed off halfway through a stretch.
Your character as a plush
Got a mouse girl, a cat girl or any anime-style OC of your own? Send the drawing, even a rough one, and tell us the size you want. We'll work out the face and the outfit with you before we sew. Prices for a doll like this start at $410.
More to look at: our custom anime plush, the Snail Mouse from a drawing, a realistic pet mouse, and every plush made from drawings.
The mouse suit is a soft lilac plush fabric with a short pile, the kind you want to stroke. The ears and tail are cut from the same fabric, so the whole mouse looks like one piece.
- Face, hands and feet: smooth pale pink fleece
- Eyes: black lash lines sewn onto the face, blush added by hand
- Hair: violet doll hair, cut into a fringe and tied in a top knot
- Trim: violet frills at the cuffs, gold satin neckerchief
She is filled with hypoallergenic stuffing, firm enough to sit up without help. If your character needs it, we can add wire so the arms or tail hold a pose, or swap the colours to match your drawing. Say so in your first message, because these go in while we sew.
A doll like this usually takes 2–4 weeks. We'll name the exact time in your quote.
A drawing shows one side of a character. So we start by working out the rest in 3D: how the head sits on the body, where the ears go, how the hair falls at the back. Then we cut, sew the suit and the frills, set the face and style the hair.
The time frame includes a reserve for handmade surprises. If she's a gift for a set date, tell us when you write.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Around the holidays mail slows down, so add a few days.
Planning a birthday surprise? Count back from the day: making time plus shipping. For Christmas, order by November 1.
Before we pack her, you get photos of the finished plush to approve. Small fixes happen at this point, not after she's on her way.
We've been sewing toys from customers' drawings since 2009. An anime character depends on small things like the shape of the eyes or the length of the fringe, and we ask when a drawing leaves something open.
You approve photos of the finished toy before it ships. If you still don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
One drawing is enough to start. A few views from different sides make it easier.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
