Gadget Hackwrench and her giant wrench
This Gadget Hackwrench toy was sewn to order for one fan who wanted her the way the cartoon draws her. Blonde hair. Blue goggles pushed up on her head. Lilac coveralls with a dark purple belt, and a grey plush wrench that stands taller than she does. She leans on it with a hand on her hip, like she just climbed out from under the Rangers' plane.
Every toy we make starts the same way: one person, one picture, a few wishes. Nothing here is made in advance. Your Gadget gets sewn after you tell us what she should look like.
The Rescue Rangers mechanic
In Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (Disney Channel, 1989), Gadget is the team's pilot and mechanic. She builds their plane out of junk while Chip and Dale argue about the case. Plenty of grown-ups say she's the reason they ended up fixing engines for a living. Cosplayers who dress as her usually carve their own foam wrench, because nobody sells one.
Here the wrench comes with the toy, sewn in soft grey fabric and stuffed firm so she can lean on it. That makes her an easy gift for the tinkerer, the pilot, or the friend who still knows the theme song by heart.
What you see in the photos
- Long yellow faux-fur hair that falls past her shoulders.
- Big blue cartoon eyes, a pink nose and her buck tooth.
- Lilac coveralls with a wide collar and a dark purple belt.
- Large pink-lined ears, pink feet and a long pink tail.
- A separate grey plush wrench, taller than Gadget herself.
Change what you like
Goggles down over her eyes, a different shade of coveralls, a small wrench she can hold in one hand: tell us and we sew it that way. Size is your call. She can also get poseable arms, legs and tail, a sound module with Gadget-style phrases, LED lights in her goggles, or an embroidered name or short message.
Prefer her with orange hair and Zipper at her side? That's our other Gadget Hackwrench plush. We've even made a Gadget doll with a real girl's face as a birthday gift. Ours is a handmade fan piece from an independent studio; Disney doesn't make or license it. Send a screenshot, a photo or a drawing and we'll price your Gadget, same as any other cartoon character we sew.
What she's made of
Gadget is sewn from premium plush fabric over hypoallergenic stuffing. Her face and body are a soft pink short-pile fabric, the insides of her ears a deeper pink, and her long tail keeps a gentle curve.
The hair is faux fur in bright yellow, trimmed by hand so it frames her face and stays out of her eyes. The coveralls are lilac plush with a darker purple belt, and the blue goggles are firm enough to sit up on her head. The wrench is its own stuffed piece in grey plush, solid enough for her to lean on.
Everything is safe, hypoallergenic material. Want a different shade or a softer fur? We match it before we cut anything.
Usually 2–4 weeks
A Gadget like this usually takes 2–4 weeks once the order is confirmed. We draft her pattern, sew and stuff the body, set the face, then make the small parts: goggles, collar, belt, tail. The wrench is cut and stuffed separately, so it takes its own share of that time.
Her face is the slow part. The eyes and that buck tooth decide whether people say "that's Gadget" or just "that's a mouse", so we rework them until they look right. Before she ships, you get photos of the finished toy to approve.
Shipping
We ship worldwide. Delivery takes up to 20 business days, sometimes as few as 7. It depends on your country, the carrier and the time of year. Around the holidays couriers slow down, so leave a buffer.
Planning her as a birthday or Christmas present? Count backwards: usually 2–4 weeks of sewing plus up to 20 business days in transit, then add a few weeks to spare. The wrench ships in the same box as Gadget.
Need her by a set date? Say so when you ask for a price, and we'll tell you honestly whether it works.
Full refund if she isn't right
We've been sewing custom toys since 2009. Gadget with her wrench is two pieces in one order: a face people know on sight, and a big soft prop that still has to read as her wrench from across the room.
You see photos of the finished toy before she leaves the studio. If she still isn't what you pictured when she arrives, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason. No arguing your case.
Ordering a handmade toy from people you've never met takes some trust, so the risk stays with us.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350.
