Plenty of people still have the Scooby they got as a kid. Others lost theirs years ago and keep looking for a big one like it. This Scooby-Doo plush is about 70 cm (28 in) tall, sewn from brown fleece and made to order for one customer. We don't have a shelf of Scoobys waiting to ship. Every one is cut and sewn after someone asks for it.
Scooby first ran from a monster on September 13, 1969, in Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! on CBS. Joe Ruby and Ken Spears wrote the show for Hanna-Barbera, and Iwao Takamoto drew the dog. He looked at what makes a prize Great Dane and did the opposite: a hump back, bowed legs, a small chin. That clumsy shape is the whole charm, so it's what we built the pattern around.

This Scooby is sewn from soft brown fleece, with black fleece spots and a blue collar. It's filled with hypoallergenic stuffing, and every material is safe and premium quality. He's made for hugging.
A 70 cm dog on four thin legs needs a sturdy build, so the seams are reinforced where the legs, neck and tail join the body. He stands on his own without folding.

A Scooby-Doo plush usually takes 2-4 weeks. Most of that time goes into the shape. A cartoon Great Dane only reads as Scooby when the hump, the bent legs and the droopy chin are right.
We draw a pattern from the cartoon or your reference, cut the fleece, sew and stuff the body, then shape the face and add the collar by hand. The time includes a small reserve for handmade surprises. You'll get photos of your finished Scooby to approve before anything ships.
Once you approve the photos, Scooby goes in the mail. Delivery usually takes 7-20 business days, depending on where you live, the carrier and the shipping method. Sometimes it's about a week.
Before the holidays couriers are busy and parcels slow down. For Christmas, order by November 1 so sewing and shipping both fit.
