This Arif 216 plush is 216, the robot from the Turkish sci-fi comedy Arif V 216. The robot who wanted to be human
Arif V 216 came out in Turkey in January 2018. Cem Yılmaz wrote it and plays Arif, and Kıvanç Baruânü directed. Fans know 216 from much earlier: he was Arif's friend in G.O.R.A. back in 2004, played by the same actor, Ozan Güven. In the new film 216 lands in Istanbul because he wants to live like a person. The neighbors aren't happy about it, so Arif takes him back in time to 1969.
In 1969 a toy maker spots 216 and wants to turn him into a factory toy. We went the other way: one 216, sewn by hand, for one fan.
Turkish fans call him the robot with a heart. He's the sweet one in the films, the robot who wants feelings and falls for PembeΕeker. We tried to sew that softness into his face.

216 is made from premium plush fabric with hypoallergenic stuffing, and every material we use is safe. He can stand on a shelf or a desk, and he's soft enough to hug.
A robot in a suit needs a few different textures:
- smooth white fabric for the face, hands and boots, so the embroidered features stay sharp
- soft grey plush with a slight sheen for the suit, trimmed with silver piping
- a light-brown hair tuft with a thin antenna on top
- glossy orange eyes that keep their shine

An Arif 216 plush usually takes 2-4 weeks. Most of that time goes into the face. 216's look is all in the eyes and that small, unsure smile. Move the brows a few millimeters and he looks grumpy.
We start by drawing a pattern from your screenshots. Then we sew the suit and head, embroider the face and fit the hair and antenna by hand. The time includes a small reserve for the surprises any handmade toy brings. You get photos of the finished 216 and approve them before anything ships.
Once you approve the photos, your plush ships. Delivery usually takes 7-20 business days, depending on where you live, the carrier and the shipping method. Sometimes it arrives in about a week.
Couriers slow down around the holidays, so leave extra time then. If 216 is a Christmas or New Year gift, order by November 1 so the sewing and the shipping both fit.
