Princess Luna has been a fan favourite since My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic started in 2010. She's the princess of the night and Celestia's younger sister, the pony who spends the very first episodes as Nightmare Moon before she's brought back. Our Princess Luna plush is her in soft form: a tall, dark blue winged unicorn sewn by hand.

She was made to order. There's no shelf of ready Lunas here: every one is sewn for one person, in the size and with the details they ask for.

Why fans order a custom Luna

You can find Luna plushies in shops. Many are small, lots are sold out, and some look like any blue pony with a moon printed on the side. People who love her tend to care about the same few things: the deep night-blue coat, the long flowing mane, the black chest piece with the white crescent moon, and a face that actually looks like her.

What this Luna has

She stands on four long legs, the way the ponies look on screen, not squashed into a round cushion shape. A big feathered wing rises behind her and a tall spiral horn sits between the ears. The eye is large, in cyan and light blue with white highlights and black lashes, above a small stitched smile.

The mane and tail are long, silky synthetic hair in deep blue with violet streaks, falling well past the knees. On her chest sits a black faux leather bib with a white crescent moon, and every hoof ends in a pale sky-blue cuff with a wavy, cloud-shaped edge.

Materials used

Luna is sewn from soft, short-pile plush in a deep royal blue. It's smooth under the hand and shows every seam line of her face and legs. We only use faux fur and fabric, never real fur.

Dark blue plush for the body, head, legs, wing and horn.
Long synthetic hair in deep blue with violet streaks for the mane and tail.
A black faux leather bib with a white crescent moon appliqué.
A large sewn eye in cyan, light blue, white and black.
Pale sky-blue hoof cuffs with cloud-shaped edges, and soft stuffing inside.

Every part can change for your version: the shade of blue, the length of the mane, the size. Spot clean only. Comb the mane gently with your fingers so it stays smooth.

Lead time

A Luna like this usually takes 2–4 weeks. Handmade work sometimes needs the extra week.

First we agree the look with you from your pictures. Then the pattern is drawn, the plush is cut and sewn, and the eye, wing and moon bib are made. The mane takes its own time, because the hair is set in so it falls the way hers does.

You get photos of the finished pony before she's packed. If she's a birthday or Nightmare Night gift, tell us the date at the start.

Delivery

We ship worldwide. Once Luna leaves our workshop, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country and your customs office.

Around Christmas and other holidays the post slows down everywhere. If she's a present for a pony fan, for a birthday or for Halloween, order a little earlier than feels necessary.

The easiest way is to mention your date when you ask for a quote. Then the sewing time and the shipping time get planned together before we start.
