Most unicorns in toy shops look alike: white or pastel, a rainbow mane, a gold horn, glitter everywhere. This one went another way. Our pink unicorn plush has a soft pink coat, a grey horn and a big mane of tight black curls, plus a shiny collar with gothic lettering. Sweet, with an edge.

It's a custom unicorn plush, made to order. There are no ready unicorns on a shelf here: each one is sewn by hand for one person, in the colours and with the details they choose.

A unicorn with a bit of attitude

Look at the mane first. It isn't smooth and brushed. It's a mass of small black curls that frames the face on both sides and runs down the neck, and the long tail is curly too. Against the pale pink it looks almost like a rock-star haircut.

The rest is quieter. She stands on four long, slim legs with grey hooves. The muzzle is a paler pink, the ear is pointed, and one large glossy dark eye gives her a calm, slightly dreamy look. The spiral horn is sewn from smooth grey fabric, matching the hooves.

The collar is where it gets personal

Around her neck sits a shiny metallic pink collar with dark lettering in a gothic style. On your unicorn that space could hold a name, a date, a nickname or a word that means something to you or to the person you're giving it to. It's one of the easiest ways to turn a toy into a personalized unicorn stuffed animal.

Design yours

Change anything. A lilac coat with a white mane, a black unicorn with pink curls, gold hooves, wings, a longer tail, a different size. Send a photo, a drawing or just a description, and we'll agree the look before we start sewing. We make plenty of plush from drawings, so a sketch is a fine place to start.

Materials used

This unicorn is sewn from soft, light pink plush with a short, velvety pile. We only use faux fur and fabric, never real fur.

Pink plush for the body, head and legs, with a paler pink muzzle.
Curly black synthetic hair for the mane and the long tail.
Smooth grey fabric for the spiral horn and the four hooves.
A shiny metallic pink collar with dark lettering.
Glossy dark eyes and soft stuffing inside.

Every material can change for your version, from the coat colour to the type of curls. Spot clean only, and fluff the curls gently with your fingers instead of brushing them, so they keep their shape.

Lead time

A unicorn like this usually takes 2–4 weeks. Handmade work sometimes needs the extra week.

First we agree the design with you: colours, size, the kind of mane, and what goes on the collar. Then the pattern is drawn and the body is sewn and stuffed. The curly mane and tail take real time, because the hair is set in bit by bit so it frames the face.

You get photos of the finished unicorn before it's packed. If it's for a birthday, tell us the date at the start.

Delivery

We ship worldwide. Once your unicorn leaves our workshop, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country and your customs office.

Around Christmas, Valentine's Day and other holidays the post slows down everywhere. A unicorn with a name on its collar makes a lovely birthday or anniversary gift, so if there's a date, order a little earlier than feels necessary.

The easiest way is to mention your date when you ask for a quote. Then the sewing and the shipping get planned together before we start.
