A platypus plush? Put a fedora on it and every Phineas and Ferb fan in the room knows who it is. This Perry the Platypus plush stands 45 cm tall, in teal faux fur, with a wide orange bill, a flat brown tail and that half-closed, sly look Perry gives Doofenshmirtz before he wrecks another -inator. We made him by hand, made to order for one person. We don't keep a shelf of ready Perrys. Each one starts with your message.
Who Perry is
To the Flynn-Fletcher family he's a pet that doesn't do much. In secret he's Agent P, a spy for the O.W.C.A., the Organization Without a Cool Acronym, and every episode he slips into his lair to stop Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh created him, and he first showed up in the pilot, "Rollercoaster", in 2007. He never says a word. The only sound he makes is a rattle of his bill, voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.
How we built him
We sewed this Perry around 2016. His body is one tall teal tube, just like on the show, with long arms, bent knees and spread fingers, so he looks ready for a fight. The bill is orange and the feet pale peach with three toes. The tail is brown and quilted in a diamond pattern. The fedora is brown faux suede with a dark band, sized to sit low over his eyes.
Perry is Perry because of those heavy lids. Ours sit half-closed, in the "I know what you're up to" stare.
Your Perry
- Any size, from a desk Perry to a big one to hug
- A different teal, a different faux fur, another eye colour
- Wire in the limbs, so you can pose him
- A sound module, or LED lights
- A name tag or an embroidered message
Send a screenshot or a photo and tell us what matters to you. You see photos of the finished toy before it ships. A Perry the Platypus plush like this starts from $335, and the quote is free.
If you like platypuses without the spy job, look at our platypus plush with a medal. More cartoon heroes, Kick Buttowski among them, are in plush from animated films. We're an independent studio, not official Disney.
Perry is teal faux fur all over his body, arms and legs. It's soft and nice to touch. There's wire inside him, and some of the details are plastic.
- A brown faux suede fedora with a dark band
- A flat brown quilted tail
- Pale peach feet with three toes
- White eyes with black pupils under teal lids
He's made to be held as well as looked at. For your Perry we match the colours to your pictures. Poseable wire limbs, a sound module or LED lights can go in on request.
A Perry the Platypus plush usually takes 2-4 weeks, with a small reserve for the surprises handwork brings.
The face takes the longest. The lids, the pupils and the bill have to sit at just the right height. A few millimetres off and he looks sleepy or surprised, not suspicious.
You get photos of the finished toy before it ships. If you need him by a set date, say so in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Once Perry leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country.
Post gets slow around the holidays, and December is the slowest month. For Christmas, order by November 1. More ideas are on our custom Christmas plush page.
He works well as a gift for someone who still quotes "Curse you, Perry the Platypus!", or as a partner for a Doofenshmirtz costume. Tell us the date, and we'll tell you right away whether sewing and shipping fit.
We've sewn toys to order since 2009. Before Perry ships, we look him over: the hat, the tail, the stare.
You see photos of your Perry before he's packed and can ask for changes then. That's the moment to say his lids should drop lower or his teal should be a shade brighter.
If he arrives and you don't love him, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
