Someone drew a snowman. Not the friendly kind with a carrot nose: three green balls stacked up, each with its own furious face, and long skinny arms. Then they sent the drawing to us. This monster plush from a drawing is the result. We sewed it by hand, made to order for that one customer. We don't keep ready toys. Every monster we make starts with someone's picture.
From the drawing to the toy
The drawing was simple: green outlines, three circles, red eyes and teeth. Our job was to keep it looking exactly that strange once it turned soft. So each ball got its own face, the same as on paper.
- Top: slit red eyes and a wide red mouth full of black zigzag teeth
- Middle: slanted white eyes and a flat mouth with four red fangs
- Bottom: sad oval eyes and a frown with four fangs dripping down
The arms hang almost to the floor and end in long fingers. The feet spread out flat, toes and all, so he stands up on his own.
He's a big one
Open the photo of him by the wall at full size: that's a phone lying on the floor next to his feet. He stands there like a short roommate.

The snowman is soft emerald green faux fur all over: three round balls for the body, long arms and wide flat feet. The fur is short enough that the faces stay sharp.

A monster plush from a drawing usually takes 2-4 weeks, with a small reserve for the surprises that handwork brings.
A drawing is flat. Someone has to work out how three circles become balls that stack and stand. Then come the faces. Eyes a few millimetres off, and the mood is gone.
You get photos of the finished toy before it ships. If you need it by a date, say so in your first message.
