Kayla is nobody's franchise. A girl made her up, drew her, and gave her a whole life story. Then her family sent us the drawing and asked for a doll. We sewed this custom OC doll in 2024 for that one family. It's the only Kayla there is. We don't keep a stock of toys: everything we sew is made to order from what you send us.
Who Kayla is
The drawing came with lore, and we loved it. Kayla belongs to a race of black-blood demons and uses their black-blood magic, like the rest of her kind. She wasn't born. She was made in a test tube. She lives in a world called Iresia, she's good with robots, and she built two of her own, Mila and Kaylika. She has a dog named Layla and a friend named Lora.
From drawing to doll
We followed the drawing, front and back. Kayla has grey skin, a mop of bright blue hair with a ponytail at the back, two small black horns and big white eyes with a dark mark across one of them. Look close and you'll see freckles and a tiny smile. She wears a white top and shorts and white thigh-high socks with black stripes. Black feathered wings sit on her back, and a grey tail ends in a blue heart.
The client wanted a doll that moves, so her arms and legs bend, and the wings and tail can be moved too. She can wave, tuck a hand under her chin, or stand with her wings spread.
Got an OC of your own?
Plenty of people have an OC (an original character) and no plush of them yet. Some have a full reference sheet, others have one sketch on a napkin. Either works. Send us what you have and tell us what matters most, whether it's the horns, the eye marks or the shape of a tail.

Kayla's body is sewn from soft grey short-pile plush. Her hair is bright blue plush, cut into separate locks around the face and gathered into a ponytail at the back. The horns are black plush and stand upright.
The big white eyes, the dark mark across her face, the freckles and the small smile were all copied from the drawing and sewn on by hand. The top, shorts and striped socks are made of white plush, and the wings are soft black plush, shaped like feathers. All our materials are premium and hypoallergenic.

A doll like Kayla usually takes 2-4 weeks, plus a few spare days for handmade surprises.
First we turn your drawing into a pattern made just for your character. Then the body is sewn, the bending parts go in, and the hair is cut and shaped lock by lock. The face comes last, by hand, because that's where the drawing has to show.
Before it ships, you get photos of the finished doll and can ask for changes. If it's a birthday gift, tell us the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Once your doll leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country, the carrier and customs.
Before the holidays the post gets slow, and Christmas parcels can take longer. For a Christmas gift, order by November 1.
A doll of a kid's own character makes a big surprise for a birthday or the end of the school year. Tell us when you need it, and we'll check that sewing plus shipping fits your date before you pay.
