This shaggy little thing started as a drawing. The customer invented the creature, sketched it and sent it to us, and we turned it into a custom plush from a drawing, sewn by hand for that one person. We don't keep a shelf of ready toys. Every plush here is made to order, starting from what you send us.
It has gray-brown faux fur that sticks out in every direction, a pale face with a brown button for a nose, and two big amber eyes ringed in black. Its fingers are long and thin, with black claws, and it likes to keep them folded under its chin. A bit shy, a bit spooky.
Creepy, cute, or both
If it reminds you of a tarsier or a slow loris, you're not alone. Those night animals have huge eyes too. A tarsier's eye is bigger than its brain. This one isn't a real animal, though. It lives in a forest that only its owner knows.
Plush fans have a word for this look: creepy cute. Most soft toys get simple round features. Here the face and eyes carry the whole personality. In a drawing, fur is a few pencil lines. In fabric, the pile has to be long and messy enough to read as wild, while the face stays smooth and clear.
Got a creature of your own?
Maybe it lives in the margins of your notebook, or in a story you've been writing for years. Send us the drawing, even a rough one. A few notes help too: how big it should be, how the fur should feel, what color the eyes are. Your creature can have claws, a tail, wings or anything else it needs.
The character stays yours. We only make the toy. See more plush made from drawings, other OC plush we've sewn, and the creatures in our fairytale plushies.
The forest creature is made from safe, premium materials with a hypoallergenic filling. The fur does most of the work here.
- Long-pile faux fur in mixed gray and brown, left shaggy on purpose
- A smooth, pale fabric face that keeps the eyes and nose easy to see
- Glass or resin eyes, amber with a black ring around each one
- A brown button nose
- Long tan fingers and toes with stitched details and black claws
For your own creature we can change the fur color and length, the eye color, the claws and any accessories. It can stand, sit or hold its arms out for a hug. With wire in the limbs, you can change the pose whenever you like. We use faux fur only, never real fur.
A creature like this usually takes 2β4 weeks to make.
Your drawing only shows one side, so we work out the rest first: the back, the size, how it sits or stands. Then comes the pattern, cutting the fur and sewing the body.
The face and hands take the longest. Eye placement decides whether the creature looks shy or a little unsettling, and every claw is done by hand. The time includes a small reserve for handmade surprises. Have a date in mind? Tell us in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7β20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier.
Holiday seasons slow the couriers down, so leave extra room. For Christmas, order by November 1.
A plush of a creature someone drew makes a strong gift for an artist, a writer or a friend who keeps doodling the same character. Add the making time and delivery together and count back from the day you need it.
Before it ships, you get photos of the finished toy.
We've been sewing custom toys since 2009, and a lot of them are creatures that never existed outside someone's sketchbook.
When you designed the character yourself, you know exactly how it should look, down to the shape of the claws. So you see photos of the finished toy before it ships. If you don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
Not sure your drawing has enough detail? Send it anyway and ask. It's much easier to settle a detail in the pattern than to change it later.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
