A child drew a pineapple with a face. Eyes closed, a wide smile, a messy crown of leaves on top. We turned that drawing into this pineapple plush, and it kept the same calm, happy look. Like every toy here, it was made to order, from one picture, for one family. We don't keep pineapples on a shelf.
What we kept from the drawing
Kids draw a pineapple the way they see it: a tall yellow oval, criss-cross lines, a spiky tuft. So that's what we sewed. The body is soft yellow plush, split into diamonds by black stitched lines. The face is a big round cream patch with two closed eyes, thin brows and one curved smile. On top sit lots of green leaves, pointing every which way, just like pencil strokes.
The drawing set the rules. We didn't add cheeks, arms or a cuter face. A plush from a child's art should look like the child's art, because that's the part they'll recognise. A leaf pointing the wrong way, a line that isn't quite straight: those stay.

It's soft enough to hug and still keeps its pineapple shape on a shelf or a bed. For your toy we pick fabrics and colours to match the drawing as closely as we can, and we ask you before we change anything.
A plush from a drawing usually takes 2-4 weeks, plus a small reserve for the surprises handwork brings.
Most of that time goes into the pattern. A drawing is flat, so we work out how the shapes should look from the side and the back. Then come the sewing, the face details and the stuffing.
You get photos of the finished toy before it ships. If it's a birthday present, put the date in your first message and we'll plan around it.
We ship worldwide. Once your plush leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country.
