In Rayman 2: The Great Escape (1999), Ly the Fairy gets the whole adventure going. She sends Rayman the message about the pirates, then makes the Silver Lums that give him his powers back. Without her, as fans like to point out, the game would never have started.
This Ly the Fairy plush doll was sewn by hand for one customer, from the reference pictures they sent. Nothing here is made in advance. Every doll we sew is made to order, for one person and the character they love.
Why fans keep asking for Ly
Ly turns up in Rayman 2 and gets a few cameos later. She never came back as a real character in Origins or Legends, and plenty of players still grumble about it. So if you want her on your shelf, a doll made to order is how you get her.
The details we copied
Ly is mostly pattern on a very slim body. Get the pattern wrong and she stops looking like Ly. On this doll:
- a yellow bodysuit painted by hand with magenta stripes and spirals, down to the pointed striped feet
- long purple hair with lilac streaks that falls past her back and lies on the floor behind her
- tall pointed ears, painted freckles, green eyes glancing up and green lips in a sly smile
- bendable fingers, so she can throw a V sign, wave or reach out
Her arms hold a pose, so you can set her up waving like she's calling Rayman, or with one hand on the hip.
Your fairy, your version
Maybe you want the Rayman 2 look exactly. Maybe it's fan art, a redesign, or your own fairy who never appeared in any game. Send pictures and tell us what matters most to you. We draw the pattern from that and send photos of the finished doll for your approval before it ships.
She has company here. See our Rayman plush, the Magician Teensy and Polokus, or browse more character dolls.
We are an independent studio. This doll is a fan piece, not an official Ubisoft product.
Ly's body is sewn from a soft velvety fabric. The skin is beige, the suit is yellow, and the magenta stripes and spirals are painted by hand, so every curl follows the seams and the shape of her legs.
- Long purple doll hair with lighter lilac strands mixed in
- Hand-painted face: green eyes, black lash lines, freckles and green lips
- Bendable arms and fingers that hold a pose
- Hypoallergenic filling, firm enough for a slim doll to keep her shape
You can ask for extras on your own doll: a different size, wings if your fairy has them, an embroidered name, a sound module or LED lights. Tell us at the start, because these go in while we sew.
A doll like Ly usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.
The pattern comes first. A thin game character has long legs and a big head, so the proportions have to come out right. Then we sew the body and paint the stripes and spirals by hand. Hair and face come last. The face takes the longest, because the eyes and the smile decide whether she looks like Ly.
That time frame includes a small reserve for handmade surprises. If you need the doll for a birthday or another date, mention it in your first message.
Once your doll is finished, shipping takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays the post is slower, so allow a few extra days.
Want her as a Christmas present for a Rayman fan? Order by November 1 so she arrives in time.
Before she leaves us, you get photos of the finished doll. Check the hair, the painted suit and the face, and tell us if anything should change. She ships after you say yes.
We've been sewing toys and dolls to order since 2009, and game characters with no official merch are some of our favourite jobs.
You see your doll in photos before it ships, so there's still time to change the hair, the eye colour or a stripe that looks off to you.
If she arrives and you don't love her, you get a full refund within 14 days. No long explanations needed.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
