Raziel was never going to be an easy plush. Glowing eyes, clawed hands, a cloak cut to shreds, and a face that fans know frame by frame. This one was sewn by hand for a Legacy of Kain fan, from the reference art he sent us, and there is exactly one of it. We don't keep Raziels on a shelf. Every Raziel plush here is made to order for the person who asks for it.
The wraith from Nosgoth
Kain's first lieutenant, executed for outgrowing his master, thrown into the Lake of the Dead and pulled back out as something that eats souls. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver came out in 1999 from Crystal Dynamics and Eidos, and Michael Bell's voice is half the reason people still quote it. Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics released Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered on 10 December 2024, on the game's 25th birthday, and a fresh crowd of players met him for the first time.
From a 3D model to a sewing pattern
Our customer came with a detailed 3D model of Raziel as his reference. A model like that is gorgeous and completely unsewable: hundreds of tiny edges, no seams, nothing a needle can follow. So our artist drew a simplified plush version for this project. Same stance, same face, the outline you recognize from across a room, rebuilt out of shapes that hold up in fabric.
He saw that drawing and approved it before we cut a single piece. Then it was sewn: pale glowing eyes, white fangs, the black cowl with its gold pattern, long bone-coloured claws, and the cloak cut point by point and speckled with paint by hand.
Yours will be a different Raziel
The ready-made ones that have been announced are small and sold on pre-order. This is the other route. Tell us how big you want him, which Raziel you mean, and which details you care about most, then we build that one. Send a screenshot, fan art, a 3D render or your own drawing and we'll price it before anything starts.
He stands on a shelf next to the console, he survives being hugged, and he is one of a kind, because he was made from your picture and nobody else's. Plenty of other video game characters have gone the same way here, from Spyro onward. Skazkodrom is an independent studio: this is a handmade fan piece, not official Crystal Dynamics, Eidos or Square Enix merchandise.
Raziel is built from soft plush and fleece. Fleece is what makes the thin, flat parts work: the ragged cloak keeps its cut points without fraying, and the cowl folds the way cloth should instead of standing out like cardboard.
The body is stuffed with cotton and soft stuffing, firm enough that he stands on his own feet and soft enough to squeeze.
- Paint by hand for the flecks on the cloak, the shading and the pale glow around the eyes
- Quilted stitching on the torso for the muscle lines
- Bone-coloured claw hands sewn as separate pieces
All the materials we use are safe and eco-friendly.
A Raziel takes 3–4 weeks to make. That is the honest range for a character with this much going on, and we would rather say four weeks than rush his face.
The weeks go into the pattern first, then the body, then the parts that make him Raziel: the cowl, the claws, the cut cloak, the painting. The face is done last and slowly, because that is the part you will look at every day.
You see photos of the finished toy before he is packed.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days after he leaves us, depending on your country and your customs office.
Around Christmas and other holidays the post slows down everywhere, so add time if the toy has a date to arrive by. If you are giving him to someone, tell us when you need him and we will say straight away whether it fits.
Nothing ships until you approve the photos. If something in them isn't right, we fix it first.
We have been sewing toys to order since 2009, which is longer than some of the people ordering Raziel have been playing the game.
Fans judge a Raziel on whether it is faithful, so that is what we work to: your reference, your approval of the drawing, your approval of the photos.
And if he arrives and you don't love him, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason at all, including "he just isn't what I pictured". No argument, no restocking fee.
