This realistic guinea pig plush is ginger on top and white underneath, with a white blaze down the face and a small pink nose. From a few steps away he passes for the real animal.
He wasn't taken off a shelf. Everything we sew is made to order, for one person and the animal they want.
Small animal, lots of small details
A cartoon guinea pig is a round ball with ears. A real one has a heavy, low body, a short neck and feet that barely show under the fur. That's what we went for here:
- long, slightly shaggy ginger faux fur on the back and sides, a shade darker around the eyes
- dense white faux fur on the muzzle, chest and belly
- thin, folded ears in a dark grey-brown, set low on the head like a real cavy's
- shiny black eyes and a tiny pink nose
- sculpted pink toes on all four feet, with every little finger shaped
One of the photos shows him from underneath, through a glass table: white belly, four pink feet, every toe.
Got a piggie of your own?
Guinea pig owners say it a lot: there aren't many good guinea pig plushies around, and the ones you find look like hamsters. If you'd like a plush of your own pig, maybe one who has passed, send us a few clear photos. Front, side and from above help most. Tell us about the coat too: short and smooth, rosettes, or long hair, and where every patch of colour sits.
We'll reply with a free quote, and you see photos of the finished toy before it ships. A realistic guinea pig like this starts from $410. Poseable legs are possible on request.

The guinea pig is mostly faux fur in two kinds, so the coat reads right from across the room and up close.
- Ginger faux fur with a long, soft pile for the back and sides, a little darker around the eyes and ears
- White faux fur with a dense pile for the blaze, muzzle, chest and belly
- small sculpted ears, shiny black eyes and a pink nose
- sculpted feet with separate pink toes
For your guinea pig we match the fur to your photos: short and sleek, rosettes or long hair, ginger, cream, black, agouti or any mix. Poseable legs are possible on request. Tell us the size you'd like at the start.
A realistic guinea pig usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.
Most of that time goes into the fur and the face. The colour patches have to meet where they do on the real animal, and the feet and ears are shaped by hand. Getting the eyes in the right spot decides whether he looks like a guinea pig or a hamster.
The time frame keeps a small reserve for handmade surprises. If you need him by a birthday or another date, write it in your first message.
When your guinea pig is finished, shipping takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays the post is slower, so leave a few extra days.
Planning him as a Christmas present? Order by November 1.
Before he ships, you get photos of the finished toy. Check the colour patches, the face and the ears against your photos and tell us if something should change. He leaves the studio once you say yes.
We've been sewing toys to order since 2009, and realistic animals are the ones where small things matter most. One patch in the wrong place and it's a different pig.
That's why you see him in photos before he's sent, while there's still time to move a patch of colour or adjust an ear.
If he arrives and you don't love him, you get a full refund within 14 days. No long explanations needed.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
