Three round characters, three pairs of sunglasses, one dance floor. This Kikoriki plush trio was sewn to order from a set of drawings: the same ball-shaped heroes you know from the cartoon, dressed for a disco. When we showed them in 2013, our whole caption was "Here's how fun the disco Smeshariki turned out." We still agree.
The price is from $335 per toy, so a trio like this one is three toys.
Who's on the dance floor
- On the left, a white suit, a white hood with an orange crest, dark visor shades and white boots with orange soles
- In the middle, big black pigtails, long lashes over the shades, a blue knit sweater with a white zigzag and a white faux fur collar
- On the right, ginger pigtails, orange shutter shades and a red shirt covered in yellow sequins
Each one stands on its own feet. The drawings set the outfits, and we kept the round KikoRiki body under every one of them.
Why KikoRiki works so well in plush
In Russia the show is called Smeshariki, from the words for "funny" and "little balls". English viewers know it as KikoRiki or GoGoRiki. It started in the early 2000s, and for a lot of people it's simply "my childhood show". Krash the blue rabbit, Rosa the pink pig, Chiko the hedgehog: every character is a ball with ears, arms and legs. That's a plush pattern waiting to happen, and it's also why the style is so easy to put on someone new.
Your own Kikoriki, from your drawing
Nothing here sits on a shelf. Every toy is sewn for one person. Send us your sketch, a screenshot or a few lines about the idea. It can be a favorite from the show, maybe the Barash plush you had as a kid, or your friends and family drawn as round little Smeshariki in their own clothes. Tell us the outfit, the glasses, the hairdo, the size you have in mind. You get photos of the finished toys before they ship.
We're an independent studio, not official Riki Group. More cartoon toys are in toys from animated films, like this Nu, Pogodi! wolf, and more toys sewn from sketches are in plush from drawings.
A Kikoriki character is mostly one round shape, so the body has to hold that ball without sagging. We stuff it firmly and build the outfit on top: the clothes are part of the toy, not a loose costume.
- Soft plush for the round bodies, in the colors of your drawing
- Faux fur for pigtails, hair and collars
- Knit fabric, felt and sequins for clothes, cut to the drawing
- Shaped sunglasses, glossy noses and stitched or painted faces
- Shoes with soles, so each toy stands up
All our materials are premium and hypoallergenic, and we only use faux fur. A sound module, LED lights or poseable limbs can be added on request.
One Kikoriki plush usually takes 2–4 weeks, with a small reserve for handmade surprises. A group takes a bit longer, since each character gets its own pattern and outfit.
First we turn your drawing into a pattern and agree on the details. Then the round body, the clothes and the hair. Faces and glasses come last, because the expression is what makes a character look like itself.
If the toys are for a birthday or a party, name the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Once the toys leave the studio, delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the courier. Around the holidays parcels slow down, so leave a few spare days.
Ordering a trio for friends or a family? They travel together in one parcel. For a birthday, add the making time and the shipping time and count back from the date. For Christmas, order by November 1.
Tell us your deadline when you first write, and we'll say right away if it works.
We've been sewing toys to order since 2009. A character from your own drawing has never existed as a toy before, so you see it first: photos of the finished plush come to you before it ships, and you can ask for changes.
If the toys arrive and you don't love them, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
Not sure how the drawing will look in fabric? Ask before we start. Changing a sketch is much easier than changing a finished toy.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
