When we posted him on our Russian site, we opened with "Hooray! One more happy girl in the world." We still mean it.
A ringneck you can hold
The real bird in the photos is an Indian ringneck, also called the rose-ringed parakeet: grass-green feathers, a red hooked beak, a black chin and a neck ring that only the males grow. With the tail, an adult is about 40 cm long, and ringnecks are known as chatty birds that pick up words.
That tail and that ring are what make a ringneck look like a ringneck, so we started there.
What we copied from the pet
- Colour: bright green plush with a softer yellow-green belly and darker green feathers at the base of the tail
- Face: a red beak, a pale patch above it, a black chin and shiny black eyes
- Neck ring: a fine dark line stitched around the neck, with a red thread running along it
- Shape: wings sewn as separate pieces, a long pointed tail and beige feet, so he stands on a hand the way the real bird would
Sometimes a toy made to your own wishes is a lot more than fabric with something soft inside. For many people it turns into a bright memory for life.

A custom parrot plush usually takes 2–4 weeks. Extras like a perch or a sound module can add a few days, and we'll give you the date when we quote.
Most of the time goes into the head. The beak, the eyes and the ring have to sit at the right angle, or a ringneck turns into a generic green bird.
The time frame keeps a small reserve for handmade surprises. If the plush is for a birthday or the bird's "hatch day", tell us the date at the start.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays parcels move slower, so give yourself extra time.
A parrot plush often goes to a kid who adores their bird, or to an owner who wants a copy for the desk, the car or a trip. Zhorik's own photos were taken by a New Year tree. For Christmas, order by November 1.
Before anything ships, you get photos of the finished toy. We pack the tail so it arrives straight.
We've been sewing custom toys since 2009, and bird owners are the strictest judges we have. They notice a wrong beak colour or a ring in the wrong place at once.
So you approve photos before we ship. If you don't love the plush, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
