This giant panda mascot was made for a TV channel. It's the same panda viewers know from the screen, now big enough to sit next to. We sewed it in our workshop to order, from their character, at 140 cm (about 55 in) tall. Nothing here comes off a shelf. Every toy starts with someone's idea.
A panda with attitude
She's not the usual sleepy panda. She has a bright red mohawk, metal rings in one ear and a ring in her nose, a chain around her neck, big blue eyes with long lashes, and her tongue stuck out. The channel's short logo sits on her white chest. Black claws and pink pads finish the paws.
At that size, the hard part is the head. It has to hold its round shape, stay level and still look friendly from three meters away and from up close in a selfie.
From the studio to a photo zone
Later the panda moved into a photo zone at a big children's store in central Moscow: a giant TV set with a red sofa inside, and the panda lounging on it. Kids posed next to her for pictures. A mascot that size does the work a costume can't: it sits there all day and never needs a break.
Your mascot, any size
If you run a channel, a brand, a store or an event, send us your character: a logo, a drawing or a 3D model. We'll tell you how we'd build it and how big it can go, from a desk-size plush to a life-size mascot for a stand or a store window.
More brand toys are on our custom mascot plush page, like this robot cat mascot. Looking for a panda that looks like the real animal? See our realistic panda plush.
The panda is sewn from soft faux fur in black and white. Up close it feels like a big plush toy, not a costume.
- Red synthetic hair for the mohawk, set into the head so it stands up
- Metal rings in the ear and the nose, plus a metal chain necklace
- Big glossy blue eyes with long lashes
- Pink tongue and cheeks, black claws and pink paw pads
- Hypoallergenic fiberfill, packed firm so a 140 cm body sits up on its own
The logo on the chest is sewn on, not printed. Send your brand colours and we'll match the fabric as closely as we can. Sound modules and LED lights can be added on request.
A mascot plush usually takes 2–4 weeks. A giant one like this panda, with a lot of small details, can take longer.
Most of the time goes into the pattern. A big head needs its own frame of seams to keep its shape, and every detail from the character art has to read at full size.
Our estimate already includes a reserve for surprises. If the mascot has to be ready for a launch, a show or a holiday photo zone, tell us the date when you ask for a quote.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on the country, the carrier and customs. Couriers slow down around big holidays, so leave extra time.
Mascots almost always have a deadline: a season opening, a store event, a New Year photo zone. Add the making time to the shipping and count back from that day. For year-end projects, order by November 1.
A 140 cm panda is a big parcel. We pack large toys so they arrive in shape, and you get photos of the finished mascot before it ships.
We've been making toys to order since 2009. Mascots for brands, channels and events are a regular part of that work.
Before we start, we go through the character with you: the size, the colours, where the logo goes, what details matter most. When the mascot is ready, you see photos of it before it ships, so you know what's arriving.
Want small copies of your mascot made at a factory? We also make plush prototypes and sewing patterns for production. The details are on our Patterns & Prototypes page.
