Catch him from the corner of your eye and you might think a real goat wandered in. This realistic goat stuffed animal was sewn by hand for one customer, to their wishes. We don't keep a shelf of goats. Each animal we make starts with someone telling us what they want.

A goat that looks alive

He's a white mountain goat in thick faux fur. The fur is short on the legs and back and grows long and shaggy on the chest and chin, so he has a proper goat's beard. Two ridged brown horns curve up and back from his head. The ears are pink inside, the nose is pink too, and the hooves are dark.

Then there are the eyes. Amber, with a dark bar across each one. Real goats have horizontal pupils that give them an almost all-round view of the meadow, and that bar is what makes a goat look like a goat. Get it wrong and the face turns into a sheep or a cartoon. Here it's right, and it gives him that calm, slightly suspicious goat stare.

He stands on four legs and holds his head turned toward you. It's the pose of an animal that has just noticed you and is deciding whether you have snacks.

Soft where it counts

For all the realism, he's still a plush. No hide, no hard shell. You can pat him, pick him up and keep him in a kid's room or on an office shelf. Our studio works with faux fur only.

Materials used

The coat is white faux fur. A short pile covers the legs, body and face, so the shape of the muscles shows through. Longer, shaggier fur makes the chest, the beard and the tufts above the hooves.

The horns are ridged and brown, curved the way a grown billy goat carries them. The ears and nose are pink, the eyes amber with dark horizontal pupils, the hooves dark brown.

For your animal we match the fur's colour and length to your photos. All our materials are premium and hypoallergenic. We never use natural fur, only faux.

Lead time

A realistic animal like this goat usually takes 2-4 weeks. Simpler toys can be quicker, and the estimate keeps a little spare time for handwork surprises.

Most of that time goes into getting the animal right. The pattern is drafted for your animal alone, and the fur is cut so it lies the way a real coat grows. Horns, eyes and the face are done by hand. A goat with the wrong eyes isn't a goat.

Before anything ships, you get photos of the finished toy. Need it by a date? Say so in your first message.

Delivery

We ship worldwide. Once your goat leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country, the carrier and customs.

Around the holidays, Christmas most of all, the post slows down and those days stretch. If the goat is a present for a birthday or for someone who keeps goats, leave a few spare days.
