A child had two favourite toys: a cream dog with brown ears and a long-legged bunny. We were asked to make a duplicate stuffed animal of each, only smaller. These are the copies, photographed on our workbench back in 2014.
Nothing here sat on a shop shelf. Every toy we sew is made to order for one person, from their own toy or photos.
Why people ask for a copy
Favourite toys get lost. Or they get loved so hard they fall apart. Sometimes the toy is fine, and you just want the same friend in a different size. All three are good reasons, and the work is the same: we study the original and sew a new one that looks and feels like it.
What we copied
The dog lies flat on its tummy. It has a round cream head, brown floppy ears with pale lining, a soft grey nose, small embroidered eyes and a braided cord tail with a grey pompom at the end.
The bunny is all arms, legs and ears: a cream body, long dangly limbs, white-lined ears and a fluffy white tail tuft.
We match fabrics and parts with what we can get, so a copy comes out very close to the original, but not always thread-for-thread identical. If one detail matters most, like the colour of the ears or the shape of the nose, tell us and we'll put it first.
How to order your copy
Send photos of the toy from the front, the side and the back, plus one next to a ruler if you can. If the toy is gone, old family photos work too. Tell us the size you want: the same as the original, smaller or bigger. The price is per toy, so a pair like this one is two toys. Before shipping, you get photos of the finished copy to approve.

Both toys are sewn from soft, short-pile faux fur in cream, chosen to match the originals as closely as we could.
- Dog: brown faux fur ears with pale lining, a grey nose, embroidered eyes and a braided cord tail with a grey pompom
- Bunny: long floppy limbs, white-lined ears and a fluffy white tail
- Hypoallergenic filling, soft enough to squeeze
Want something added to your copy? We can embroider a name or a date, or add a sound module. Ask at the start, because these go in while we sew.
A copy like this usually takes 2–4 weeks per toy.
Most of the time goes into the pattern. We measure the original or work from your photos, scale the pattern to the size you asked for, and check the proportions so the smaller toy still has the same face.
The time frame includes a small reserve for handmade surprises. If it's a gift for a date, tell us in your first message.
Shipping takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays the post slows down, so allow a few extra days.
For delivery before Christmas, order by November 1.
Before the copy leaves us, we send you photos of the finished toy. Put them next to the original and tell us if anything should change.
We've been sewing toys to order since 2009, and copies of favourite toys are some of the most personal orders we get.
You see the finished copy in photos before it ships, so there's still time to fix a detail: a darker ear, a longer tail, a rounder nose.
If it arrives and doesn't feel right, you get a full refund within 14 days, no questions asked.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
