It was made to order for that one customer. We don't keep a stock of Rainbow Friends. Each toy is handmade from the picture you send.
What changed from drawing to plush
The drawing is the last picture in the gallery. It shows Purple crouching, with huge black eyes, thin bendy limbs, long fingers and toes and his tongue hanging down. We kept what makes him Purple and made the rest easy to hold:
- the same round head and oversized eyes, black with a white ring and little white highlights
- the long, skinny arms and legs, now soft plush
- simple rounded tips instead of spidery fingers and toes
- no tongue, so the plush looks friendly instead of hungry
The shapes and proportions stay true to the drawing. Anyone who knows the game spots him right away.

Purple is sewn by hand from soft lavender-purple plush with a slightly mottled look, so he isn't one flat color. The stitching is neat and small, which matters on limbs this thin.

A plush from a drawing like this usually takes 2–4 weeks.
A drawing only shows one pose, so first we work out how the character looks from every side and draw a pattern. Then we cut and sew the head, the body and those long arms and legs.
The eyes come last. Move them a few millimeters and the face changes, so this part gets the most care.
You see photos of the finished toy before it ships, and we fix anything that doesn't look like your picture. If there's a birthday or a date to hit, mention it in your quote request.
We ship worldwide. Once the toy is packed, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country, the carrier and customs. Sometimes it's as quick as 7.
