A young man loves a girl. The girl loves her dog. He sent us one photo of the two of them together, and asked for her as an anime plush doll. This is that doll, made to order for one girl and nobody else.

We don't sell ready-made anime girls. Every doll like this starts from someone's photo and ends up looking like that person.

First a drawing, then the doll

A photo can't be sewn straight away. So our artist drew her first, in a soft anime style: big brown eyes with long lashes, a straight brown bob parted in the middle, red lips, a brown coat with white cuffs, a scarf with big red letters, jeans and brown boots. You'll find that sketch among the photos on this page.

Then we sewed the drawing. The face is embroidered, from every eyelash to the curve of the lips. The hair is soft brown plush. The coat has fluffy white cuffs and hem, and the scarf wraps around her neck just like in the picture.

And the dog?

The little tri-colour corgi standing next to her in the photo is a separate toy, a pet plush we sewed from a photo too. If your girlfriend has a pet she adores too, we make plush pets from photos, and the two look great side by side.

Your girl, drawn and sewn

All we need is a few clear photos of her. A favorite outfit, a scarf she never takes off, the way she parts her hair: these are the details that make her say "that's me". You see and approve the drawing before we cut any fabric.

Materials used

This anime doll is sewn from soft plush fabrics. The face is pale cream fabric with the whole portrait embroidered: brown eyes with white highlights and black lashes, thin dark brows, a small nose line and red lips.

The hair is brown plush, cut and sewn into a bob that frames the face. Her outfit is sewn on the doll the way it was drawn:

Inside she's filled with soft stuffing, firm enough to keep her shape and soft enough to squeeze. Everything we use is safe and eco-friendly.

Lead time

A portrait doll like this usually takes 2–4 weeks. Some toys are quicker. The range leaves room for the small surprises every handmade toy brings.

It starts with the drawing. Our artist turns her photo into an anime-style picture, and you approve the design before any fabric is cut. Then comes the pattern, the embroidered face, the hair and the clothes, one by one.

Delivery

We ship worldwide. Once the doll leaves us, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country and your customs office.

Around Christmas and other holidays the post slows down everywhere, so add time if the doll has to arrive by a certain day. A present with her face on it deserves a calm handover, not a nervous wait for the courier. Give the parcel a comfortable margin.
